Own the Galaxy chromebook 1 (fire red). Trakpad glitch and poor battery aside, the finest CB I ever owned. Just purchased this new model. No aluminum all body construction, no touch screen, no pen. No super display. But so many new features- Sammy fixed so many complaints that I'm starting to use the chromebook again.

I like the DUET 3 format, updatee and this new chip is an improvement on the previous. Faster CPU and battery charges quicker and drains slower, 4k HDMi output is also nice. You may as well spend your money it'll be worth less this time next year.

Thank you, seems like I dont need dex, I'm stoked on my Samsung fold on its own, and I can easily get my messages on either a PC or my Chromebook. My fold 5 I can do just about all I need on,,,,Its like a true pocket Cray.

Google said ChromeOS Flex is still being developed. The education sector wont be affected in anyway since those modified chromebooks wont run android apps to begin with. Maybe we'll see Google transitioning standard ChromeOS on chromebooks to android so it makes sense for them to roll out higher end devices while also keeping ChromeOS Flex as a lightweight Google branded Linux distro

This doesn't work on a HP Chromebook 14-ak060nr. I can't find any way to turn on Dev Mode or access Linux on this Chromebook.

I recently bought this as my current MacBook Pro I got in 2017 is getting old and the battery just isn't good anymore. In addition, I have been thinking about getting a cheaper Chromebook for travel since even if I could justify buying a $1,000+ MacBook Air or a $1,500 MacBook Pro, I don't like the idea of traveling with a $1,000 or $1,500 if it's strictly for personal use. I have been liking it so far and it's good for personal use in terms of surfing the internet, checking emails, watching videos on KZbin or streaming and most people keep their files via Google Drive or the cloud which I can access. It also has great battery life and at 2.86 lbs, it's lighter than a MacBook Pro. Really like the blue color. So many other good things I can say about Chromebooks in general like not having to worry about computer viruses. If there are really "intense" things I want to do like complex spreadsheets, I can use my work computer for that. Final thing to add, I did get a USB-C multi port hub which has a couple regular USB ports and an HDMI port to solve the problem regarding lack of ports and even considering that extra cost and a 1 year warranty through Best Buy, I spent only $293 which is a bargain as I did get the chromebook when it was $169. Obviously it's not the best Chromebook as this video as laid out and while you might not want it as your main personal laptop, I think it's perfect for travel and casual use for those who don't need a lot from their personal laptop. Hoping to have this last for many years.

I was recently looking at this tablet at Walmart 11 months in the future of this upload, they have a better deal than Best Buy, just over $200 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. My understanding , Chrome OS is pretty lightweight & only needs about 4GB of RAM to run well. If I end up buying one, Walmart’s deal is the way to go! 😁👍
