No I don’t. I should do that someday but there’s forest temple theme from OoT, give up from Lisa the painful, one is from Scarlet Hollow, silent hill 2, soul master theme hollow knight, there’s another hollow knight song as the final one before my outro. I promise to make a playlist of the most frequently used music in my videos which I’ll link to this description and in a playlist on my channel. I promise to do this before 2025 so subscribe if you’re not so you find me easily :D

How many fakedeaths does oda need brudda? Vegapunk, Kuma, even the ALL the books survived?! I’m desensitized since pell and pagaya and many more…. I don’t see the quality writing of this manga one piece, trauma and sacrifice doesn’t mean anything in this series its just a joke.
@BigDadPirates4 күн бұрын
I don’t know brudda but if you think it should be done differently then I suggest writing your own story. You don’t have to like it or love every part of the story and I personally don’t think most of those are real fake out deaths but I understand the sentiment. I think Kuma/vegapunk dying is a matter of interpretation but vegapunks isn’t just one dude…his mind is in punk records so I think ultimately punk records and all vegapunks would have to be dead for him to fully dead. Hopefully that makes sense. I recommend just enjoying the ride though and see where a true artist takes the story! You don’t have to like or agree with everything in the story at all times!

So…. Binks brew is the one piece? So they’ll show up and cheers drinks and sing the song? Is that essentially the theory summarized?
@BigDadPirates10 күн бұрын
I’m not fully trying to form a theory necessarily. I could present it as a theory but of breaking down this motif into its smallest parts and show how they fit in with the story and themes of the whole One Piece!! Now I’m biased so I think I lean into my theory which is that the one piece is a grave/eulogy and so what do you do when you visit a grave? You bring flowers (think Imu) bring alcohol (think Luffy, Roger, joyboy). So binks brew is probably not the one piece but it very closely related especially if someone needs this song, a party, delivered to their grave as some sort of remembrance. The intention of the video is to show you the way I see and feel about the story and WHY, which also provides fuel for theories for myself and the community! Thank you for watching!

Finally! You're the only other One Piece fan I've ever heard talk about Blackbeard's speech in chapter 225 who didn't misunderstand what was happening! Normally, people are too focused on their own emotions. They're so happy that somebody is validating Luffy's beliefs and dreams after Bellamy and his gang beat the shit out of him that they assume Luffy agrees with everything he's saying. Even after their disagreements over every little thing at the bar, and even retroactively, knowing that he's Blackbeard and the kind of person he is, they think "Oh, even though he and Luffy are total opposites, they must still share this one core belief." Not even that panel in chapter 1060 is enough to convince them otherwise. When the big reveal comes there will be a ton of people who'll call it a retcon, even if Oda explains everything step by step.
@BigDadPirates9 күн бұрын
Yeah I agree with all of this haha I think them hating each others loved food was very on the nose setup for Blackbeard being a foil to Luffy…and then you have to extrapolate that to their very core ideas of being a pirate and what it means to be free!

Hmm well what do you think? Is the point that even if your dream doesn’t succeed, someone will inherit that dream and carry the torch? But even so, what is the purpose of chasing a dream that you may never actualize yourself? And what does the person who actually delivers bink’s brew want as part of that purpose?

Binks Saka is the proper translation!
@BigDadPirates11 күн бұрын
I understand what the literal translation is but sake in that translation doesn’t necessarily refer to rice wine like it would mean in English. It means something closer to “alcoholic beverage” which is why in all official English translations it is Bink’s Brew. I hope that clarifies it! In the video I refer to it as Bink’s Brew or Bink’s Sake within the first 30 seconds of the video 😄

another amazing video, not sure what my major dream is in life as of yet. I only recently started even coming close to understanding who I am in recent years. But it's due to having great conversations and being able to be open with a few close friends that I'm even close to knowing myself. This video inspires me to think more deeply about what that dream might look like in the future. I think you're doing a killer job so far creating a space and works that inspire people to be who they truly are, through love and understanding each other, mad respect.

One Piece is such a MasterPiece man... No other story touched my soul the way One Piece did. And no other story healed my nihilism infested mind like One Piece did. I lived for the last 12 years hating myself for being weak, feeling empty, alone, broken, like something was wrong with me and I didn't deserve to even exist, let alone live. I cried like a baby when I reached the "I want to live!" Robin scene and I felt that on a spiritual level man, it was so powerful and cathartic that I felt my soul starting to repair itself and heal from all the damage. The same thing happened when I saw Ace's backstory and his mental battle for self-worth. I swear I could write a book if I went through every moment from One Piece where I felt a spiritual connection to certain characters. Oda is a creative genius and no one can change my mind... He created a story that heals people and gives them hope, even while living in such a cruel world. Thank you dear nakama, I'm happy I found your channel. Great video, instant sub 🫡😁🤝✌️

This is my first video of yours I've seen, so I'm a complete stranger, but just want to say I'm proud of you to smile again. I'm sorry that the past traumatized you, and that those memories can flash back up even during some of your most happy moments, but you smiling past it, and ensuring the next generation won't experience that harm first hand is admirable. I will say just as a piece of advice for the future, your children shouldn't be withheld from your burdens or history. When a person is mature enough, they deserve to know some of the dark things that plague those that came before them. I say this as a son to parents who withhold the hell that they worked through, only finding out snippets throughout the years. I think the younger generation is capable of helping the older generation with some of those burdens, even if it's as simple as reminding them how to smile.

They do perform executions at Impel Down. Level 6 is explicitly death row. The other levels also perform executions, and naturally kill people due to their environment. Notice that everyone in Impel Down we know of (outside New Kama Land) only arrived there a few months ago. That's because most people don't live that long there. I think the WG going after Ace is the exception rather than the rule. They say something of that nature when they arrested Tom: he was only executed because he aided Gold Roger specifically. All the other pirates he sold ships to didn't matter.

OP changed my life. I first came across it in ShonenJump, back when they still sold physical copies in the US, and payed it no mind because I was trying to get into Naruto at the time ironicly enough. Then a couple years ago I decided to give it a try because everyone seemed to be having fun and I wanted in lmao I got to like ep672 and started to worry how many ep I had left because I was dreading the end hahahahaha today I kick myself for not keeping those magazines as a kid. The story is so inspiring in so many ways. Then I started reading the manga to get all the content I missed in the show lol I wonder if this is what people back in the day felt about The Odyssey when it was fresher? Like the story is clearly fiction built apon the weavings of historical events. Oda has such a way at being dramatic in THE BEST WAY 💜 like those certain points that hit you so strong in the feels you gotta go sit and think about it sometimes
@BigDadPirates19 күн бұрын
Something that is so cool about the odyssey is how it was told similarly to how stories are told within the One Piece world...like what was shown in Fan Letter special... It was an oral traditional told by story tellers for an unknown amount of time until someone calling themselves "Homer" who may be many people or no one in particular wrote the entire stories in strict rhythm and structure....like One Piece the story is told with flashbacks and present story! I miss those physical editions of SJ as well and really wished I was into it back in the day

My dream is a world without class, without money, and without states, where everyone's needs are met without a second thought, where the maximum potential of all existence, including matter, including life, including the human species, are realized, first starting with the quality of life for everyone who exists to be maximized as much as possible, and where universe shattering dreams are not only second nature for us all, but equally believed to be completely possible! There is a name for a world, a system like this. I'll let you figure out what it is, hehe.

Oda likes to add many parts of history into his story in a creative way. Including the darker themes. Such as: • Wholecake arc featuring events from late Victorian era to World War II England and Germany. With the Big Mom pirates being based off Queen Victoria I and her children, and Germa 66 as Nazis. • Caesar and "Land of The Dead" being a reference to the volcanic eruption in Pompeii. • Albert Einstein's idea being used as as a weapon. Just like Vegapunk with the Mother Flame.

Obviously from the very start the theme of hope and dreams has been highlighted, with Luffy already wholeheartedly and joyfully and earnestly dreaming to be the king of pirates since the start but what really drove it in for me was Baratie. Sanji dreams of finding the all blue, but has buried that dream deep inside, having been told virtually his whole life that it's a childish dream. But seeing Zoro so earnestly dream of being the world's greatest swordsman, even in the face of death (when he duelled Mihawk) and STILL refusing to let go of that dream, I think it profoundly changed Sanji. I hope this makes sense, English isn't my native language lol
