Did Dolly Parton's husband know that she loved Porter Wagoner best it's so apparent their body language says it all did she loves her husband as much as she loved Puerto Waggoner she sure was one of the the Lord's favorites many women have a better voice than hers but she had Porter Wagoner and the TV show she sure was blessed🎉🎉😅

But the real love of her life has always her husband that she married in Ringold, GA. They married as teenagers and are still married.

This is one of Dolly's early masterpieces. It casts a spell so you can smell the honeysuckle. Why has it not been named as an official state song of Tennessee, who knows?????????

As another person commented, I thought this was Whitney Houston’s song and it was a long time till I found out otherwise. Houston’s version is powerful and stops you in your tracks, but Dolly’s version which is the original is very poignant with sadness and a heart wrenching tug at your heartstrings. It tells a story. Houston’s one doesn’t.

Remember in 1973 a married woman had no right to a credit card unless her husband gave her permission. A wife could not withdraw from checking unless her husband gave permission, Roe V Wade was several years removed.
