I'm brown and grew up poor in a country where now thanks to Marx ideas, we have a failing economy, rampant corruption and zero freedom of speech. Yes, I know you'll say it's not Marx's fault but without Marx's seed reaching the mind of our former leader, we'd have a dynamic economy with a new president every 4 years just like our neighbors do. So it'll never not seem ironic to people like myself, brown and poor, watching the excitement and adoration these figures get from white people who never had to endure the consequences of living in an authoritarian regime that got started thanks to Marx's ideas. It's just so easy to sympathize with almost anything if you grow up in the comfort of a nice home with a government that has elections and guarantees that basic necessities and things like school and the electrical grid keep working.

What an extremely important documentary! So helpful in understanding the complexity of conspiracy phenomena and explaining the modus operandi of Russell Brand. Myself, as a a follower of conspiracy theories, couldn't argue on anything in this video except one topic - 9/11. It amazes me how effective this conspiracy turned out to be, still fooling so many. The world still have a homework to do in this matter.

Why did 150,000 Jewish CHRISTIANS fight on the side of Hitler? Is the information given to us 100% truth? Or is it the same with every war, the Victor's write the history for their narrative to justify what they did to another race of people. I can show you documentation of what Talmudic Jews wanted for the Germans years before WW2. When you wake up in this Age of Awakening, everything becomes clear, Revelations 20: 7-10

With recent release of documentation previously hidden or labeled top secret/confidential the events of WW2 have a very different scenario from the pushed narrative. Watch Europa, if you aren't sleeping you already knew whose responsible, and what season this is from Revelations 20. There is a very dark enemy of Christianity at work on information publicly released, do your own research people before it's too late. Agenda 2030 is now, stand up for your family and children, like another great man of his time attempted to defend his race from genocide.

We DO have free will. However, we ARE stuck to, And beholden to, a line of unpacking… (If, for no other reason than proximity, social status and affiliations) A line, that is tied to our OWN desires. A loose path, we have a predisposition to follow, in a FIXED direction. So, you could say it is FATE, That leads us to our destination, However, not our FINAL destination, Just our FINAL direction. We can make SEVERAL different choices, but they are all TIED to our same DESIRE, so it will lead to a FINAL DIRECTION, due in part to the lines of unpacking, that we are beholden to. Your final fate may look different, Across multiple universes, But the direction will be the same, Due to your lines…and soul’s desires.

Cause and affects to our lives, our emotions. All are connected to the energy within ourselves, in our minds. When we don't give energy to the cause and effects within us, it looses it's tigtening power of entrapment. Effects are only dangerous to those that gives energy to it. JamesWhiskey

However I don't go around saying I'm half German because the 1st response I get is about world War 2 and its not a comfortable feeling . I wish people could know the German history better and stop stereotyping .

The best summarization i've seen from anyone in the global north about marxism, nonetheless it genuinely sounds like you've read critiques and summarizations of past thinkers instead of reading them themselves. You're imbuing common sense of our liberalism to works that didn't even begin to drink from these waters.

It’s sad to think about the world young women live in today. Instead of focusing on important things like education and regaining all the rights women are losing, they are online, chasing after followers, unboxing thousands of garbage items they buy, posing in front of a mirror with a phone and making duck lips. Their lack of basic knowledge, their sheer ignorance and complete intellectual laziness is sickening. My son and his cousins all have decided they will not get married or have kids. They want smart, capable life partners, and there’s just not that many in Gen Z.

I knew you were going to say Quincy seconds before you said it, even before you had begun your sentence. I read it when I was just a teenager and never forgot it. I think I internalized much of it, unlike most books that I instantly forgot. I find it hard to believe you are the first person on YT to discuss it (unless it's the censorship.)

Tolkien once wrote in a letter to his son, “I have in this war a burning private grudge against that ruddy little ignoramus Adolf Hitler. Ruining, perverting, misapplying, and making for ever accursed, that noble northern spirit, a supreme contribution to Europe, which I have ever loved, and tried to present in its true light.”

It’s funny you mention Gilligan on plagiarising. Wasn’t he a beat reporter apparently in Florida??? Who ran across a real world person Walter White and made a series on a real Walter White’s life. Albeit a dramatisation. Suspicious talk about plagiarising someone’s life.

Your explanations are so persuasive but I must respectfully disagree that Bacon is missing the role of emotion. Just because the Romantics valued emotion or because future philosophy saw emotion as indispensable has no bearing on the wrongness or rightness of Bacon’s concern about how emotion distorts observation. Yes we naturally select certain observations and favor them. Bacons point is not that this proclivity is unnatural but that it does not constitute accurate accounts of the material world. His concerns with how the senses lead us astray is borne out by the discovery of UV light among countless other scientific discoveries that relied NOT on how we felt about light but what observations could be rigorously SEPARATED from human biases and limitations and to that extent be proven factual beyond any further intervention by our feelings or thoughts.

Not defending Brand per se ... but the argument that a political podcast/youtubevid can't politise if it blames so called "news media" for doing it without being hypocritical is kinda moot. There's a big difference between the propositions: "Here's the news" and "Here's Russel Brand with his opinion"

Pretty good! You are a bit weak on Hegel - his religious beliefs are debated, but he certainly didn't think God was running Geist through history towards Absolute Knowing, nor that ideas only, propel history ( though Marx may have thought he thought that). On Marx: 'Labour theory of value ' is a term Marx never used. Capital is a critique of that theory, not a celebration of it. Value, abstract Labour, commodity are all seen as not ahistorical truths but integral to the capitalist mode of production. So Marx doesn't think value is created in eg a factory: it is 'revealed' in exchange in what we could better call 'the value theory of labour': the way capitalism sees value. Its effects are real, of course. Lastly, the Transformation problem is technical but not really the problem for Marx you suggest it is- it's certainly not regarded as decisive refutation of Capital's claims. Overall, though, very well done!

Whatever "woke" was, it has now been coopted by an organic decentralized civil religion. The lack of centralization has resulted in a purity spiral where people are held to a moral standard that doesn't align with human reality.
