I saw Randy at the Whiskey a Go Go here in LA in about '78. I was then & am now a huge Jimi fan. Randy Hanson was amazing then & is still out there doing it going on a half a century later. He's mainly around the Seattle area where Jimi was from. Go see him live if you ever can. He is a gem & an extraordinary musician! Find him. Go see him. He deserves your support. He is a gift, especially to us lifetime fans of the greatest guitarist the world has ever know.

I have now seen this performance for 1000 times and I get always goosebumps, Randy Hansen is the greatest guitarist playing Hendrix Note for note. A total reincarnation!

I’ve listened to Jimi’s original so many times that I know it note for note in my head. Randy’s take on it could have fooled me, other than his vocals. Amazing!

Thank you. This is Randys and my favorite Hendrix tune off all time. It includes every musical color he ever created and even more. He would have ended up writing symphonies.

I was fortunate to see Randy Hanson twice.The first time at the Starwood back in the 80s, on the Sunset strip. He went outside and played right in the middle of the road on Sunset Boulevard and stopped traffic.2nd time right in the middle of the Pacific coast highway at the “Golden Bear” in Huntington Beach club. once again, he stopped traffic! I’m Jimi Hendrix fan never saw him. I was blown away.✌🏻🫶🏻🎸
