Whether you board or ski, all that matters is show common courtesy. I'll wait for these storms to pass then head up during the week. Wish we could go back to $8 lift tickets, It's getting close to $200! Thanks Bill!

Bill, congratulations on your well-earned retirement! You’ve been an absolute legend in the Bay Area, and I can’t thank you enough for your years of precise, reliable, and spot-on weather forecasting. As a rotary aviator, I’ve depended on your forecasts countless times before heading out on duty, and I can confidently say no one does it better. Your insights have been invaluable, and I will sorely miss your live reports. That said, it’s great to know your KZbin channel will still be here-at least I’ll have access to your expertise whenever I need it! I’ve also got to admit, your side conversations have made me late to work a few times… but totally worth it! You’ve got that down-to-earth, easygoing vibe-seems like the kind of guy you could grab a beer with and just talk about anything. Wishing you nothing but the best in your retirement, Bill. You’ve earned it. Cheers! 🍻

Bill, thank you for de-dooming and de-glooming the CA weather reports. I no longer look at mainstream media for weather news due to their dramatization of everything. I grew up watching you on KTVU and will continue watching your youtube, I really appreciate your straightforward forecasts and I also love your thoughts on CA history. Would you consider putting together a reading list of the books you've shared on occasion?

Thanks for this, Bill. As a native Bay Arean (born in SF, raised in Berkeley, Santa Cruz mountains since 1980), it's comforting to hear you talk about the weather in the places I love. My grandparents lived in Paradise ("I'm sorry" people would say. "Don't be; they love it".) Thank you so much for covering Santa Cruz weather and surf as much as you do. No one else does that.

Congrats on a wonderful career and your upcoming retirement. You have always been a true original and that has what made you loved for decades. You are the Bonds/Judge/Shohei of your profession. When you come on, I never want to turn the channel because I know I will learn something. I have always loved your passion, but also the way that you don’t sell us fear every night. My wife and I would literally listen to your forecasts because they were based in reality. Your comments about the so Cal rain are a perfect example. That rain was desperately needed, but 99% of the coverage turned into something devastating. I will miss your nightly broadcasts and I will never forget your random chats with Tom T on KNBR. If you want an activity to help give you some structure in your retirement, you are more than welcome to speak to my Senior classes at Napa High School. I am always looking for inspirational role models, who are passionate about what they do, to share their wisdom with my students getting ready to graduate. Bring on the next chapters in your life my friend!
