For me it depends on measurements if you measure under my apron belly I am same measurements in the bust and hip, in hourglass, with narrow shoulders. But if you measure the apron belly I am a pear and at this point I do not feel comfortable in anything. I feel like what ever I wear looks horrible and not flattering.

You can use hosiery to change the way it looks too. Ie, match tights to footwear to skirt to visually eliminate breaks. Hope that makes sense. People wear ankle socks with skirts too.

I believe this works fine if you’re already an inverted triangle shape or even rectangle. But if you have curve in your silhouette it can make you look wider, broader and almost boxxy.

Can you please do a version of this for summer office wear. When I try those mid-lomg dresses that ladies wear to the office, I feel like I’m wearing a costume, is not me at all. however, using dresses that accentuate my waist line/shape can look work inappropriate. I’m 5’2.
