I visited Cusco two weeks ago, but I only saw your video today. In Cusco, a lady walked past me holding a baby lamb. When I smiled at her, she gave me the lamb to hold for a brief moment. When I gave the lamb back, she kept asking me for something, which I did not understand. Another tourist whispered in my ear, that she's asking me for a tip. I suddenly realized what was going on. I said to the lady politely 'no tengo dinero' (I don't have any money). She then became visibly annoyed at me. They should call it the 'lamb scam'.

In Lima? Yes, use lift or uber. In the provinces those service are most likely unavailable. Also she is correct, Machu Picchu town is one of the scamiest towns on earth. Don’t trust anything there. If you wish to stay overnight close to Machu Picchu I would suggest Santa Teresa. It’s not that far, less of a scam and the hot springs are way better.

Great idea ...very fun video.👍 This also offers an important point. When folks travel, they need to realize that they likely know very little about other cultures, and probably have a ton of misconceptions. In order to have a good travel experience it is super important to actually do some homework about the culture you will visit. It will give you a better experience and also make you a MUCH better emissary for your own culture. Making rude mistakes reflects on your own culture and helps create a lot of the misconceptions. Happy travels.

Mexico is a Shit hole. Trash is dumped everywhere. I don't believe you have traveled the country 😮 Look at their river full of human waste, in San Diego we cannot even enjoy the beaches. These uneducated scum have human waste dumping into the Pacific Ocean. Uneducated, thieves, illegals, as we know who shall all be sent on the Operation Wetback. Clean up America

Oh my, it gave me flashbacks about my trip to Milano. I was walking from Duomo to the next spot, and one of those bracelet guys simply put this bracelet on the top of my wrist (not even closing it). I didn’t even notice it until he started shouting at me. I was lucky to be with a male companion who literally took my hand and started dragging me further away and I instinctively just threw the bracelet on the ground. That seller continued shouting at us and I was happy that we almost run away from there. It was not only annoying, but even scary in a way.

Today, August 25, 2024, the situation hasn’t changed, perhaps is even worse! I’m heartbroken 😢 This video helps to expose the untold story of this poor animals and the lack of education political support to change this situation. More videos like this one will expose the current situation and get some help and actions to change it! Thank you for this video.

I was just in Chicago downtown and spend 420 dollar in a restaurant with really bad Italian food. 62 dollars tip included. In USA I strongly recommend to stay in a place with a kitchen and cook yourself.

Bro me and my family are in Rome and we saw this game to find which container has the pearl and people were betting money on it so my dad thought it was just a little fun game so he bet money on it and there was this guy who kept on saying, and I quote “ No game! No game! Just watch! “ and we couldn’t hear him so little did we know that person who was shuffling was a mafia and the people who were betting money were his gang acting like normal people to attract us to play so later they took the money and my dad realized that it was a scam and the guy who kept warning us pulled us out of their and explained that they were the mafia gang and before we could even call the police they had run away so that they would not get arrested 😢 I have another story so this guy with a bunch of bracelets came and asked us if we wanted to buy some we kept on saying no thank you over and over again but since he was Muslim like us he gave us three bracelets and luckily left before he asked us to pay so that time we got lucky And my last story is that we were eating at this restaurant where everything was in Italian and this guy with roses came to us and asked us if we wanted to buy some we said no thanks and luckily he left so we got lucky again but now I know that in Rome there is lots and lots of scamming and scammers so yea and also we did not know about these scammers because where we live scammers don’t show up to you so yea anyway stay safe out there guys!! Edit 1: thanks to Allah we got saved a few times

The Peruvian street is absolutely a negotiation culture. If you don't haggle, you're going to have a bad time. Never be afraid to give a hard "no" if pressed or a softer "no" with a an air of dismissal if offered a terrible deal. If prices are written, you can take them or leave them (and there is always another option), but if they aren't, you need to ask up front.

Girl you look like a walking target. There's no reason to say anything politely. This is a very American breed in female characteristic and when in a tourist trap location don't even bother. Keep it pushing better yet, don't even make eye contact to begin with. That's the first indicator
