Thank you for sharing. Such wonderful teachings from Master Narita.

The Japanese version of this video will soon reach 100,000 views, but the English subtitled version doesn't get many chances to be seen, so I'm glad to get feedback like you. Thank you very much. Some people don't believe in NARITA Sensei's moves because they are too great. But that can't be helped. Even when I saw it right in front of me I still couldn't believe it. But when he throws it, I understand. I am stunned.😁
Thank you for the video. I have been studying Aikido for more than 40 yrs, it is your video that I realized that a totally different branch of Aikido teaching other than O Sensei. I had been under the teaching of Master Yamaguchi for a few class, so I understand Master Narita movement.

Thank you for your comment. It is gratifying to have someone like you, a long-time aikido practitioner, give such high praise for the video. As I have written in the channel community, I believe that those who stand on the "STAGE" have different ways of expressing themselves, but the "view" they see is probably the same. I hope this video will be useful to someone, even if they are not training in Aikido or Budo.

@@univunivuniv Thank you for posting the videos. Because of your video, I modify my exercise routine to improve the Aiki aspect, 2 becomes 1.
Thanks for including Endo sensei. do you know Yamaguchi Seigo ? He is the teacher of Endo. And...i think they know koshi no mawari, i think it is basic concept for them. I do aikikai aikido myself ^_^ and i can remember from very first class its always "dont use your shoulders but use your hips."
@@univunivuniv 字幕大変ですよね。私は字幕を付けるのが面倒なので日本語版と英語版を作ってます。字幕は結構良く出来てると思います。ぱっと見て気づいたのは 2:21 You are in the first place 多分the が必要だと思います。2:28 middle school students these days でしょうね
He was a student of Morihei Ueshiba, right? Or at least he trained aikido in the Kobukan dojo of Morihei Ueshiba, right?

Hmmm, Hirai Sensei says that he was invited by Morihei UESHIBA (O-sensei). We know that he was in charge of general affairs at Kobukan, taught other students at Kobukan, and was sent to Dai Nippon Butoku Kai. But Hirai Sensei does not explicitly state that he was a student of O-Sensei. I have a theory that there is a reason for that, and I wish I could make a video about it. It would be my personal opinion, not proof.

成田先生の動画を拝見しました。 成田先生は腕と丹田部分が繋がっているのではないか?と思いました。

It shows a unique and valuable aproach for all aikidokas, i think. Thanks for making these clips and uploading them. with English subtitles. :-) I try to incorporate this in my aikido. I have a question though.... Is Narita sensei the ONLY Korindo master? on youtube i ONLY can find clips of Narita sensei, no other master, nor full classes of Korindo Aikido students practising.

This is not something I filmed to upload to KZbin in the first place. This is a photo shoot for the publication of a book, where I was explaining and answering questions from the magazine publishers. I was just filming it.

It seems dificult but its actually easy.... ;-)

Does it look easy? If you just want to copy the look, maybe so. But I want you to read the text. Even black belts in Aikikai and Yoshinkan are confused at first, and it takes time to get used to it. The important thing is not to imitate the appearance, but to feel it.

@@univunivuniv Thank you for all the many replies, sensei. When i think about it what i see, it looks dificult to me. But when i dont think about it, just carefully listen what the teacher say, and do it, it is easy. It is not a technique but a movement and a feeling, right? Rotate from the cetral axis, soft circular movement. When i do this with uke, it feels effortless. It is easy BUT needs a lot of sincere practise to cultivate it. I say it is "easy" because i want to encourage people not only watch this video, but do it and practise it. By the way i am black belt Aikikai, do aikido twenty years now. I respect all aikido, Yoshinkan, Ki Aikido, etc. I never heard of Narita sensei or Hirai sensei before. It is obvious they are great senseis. I feel its a pity Hirai didnt stay in Aikikai so he could promote and teach his style to more people. Oh, often "easy things" are dificult to do. Do you know what i mean? It is easy if you put effort and do your best. Thanks for posting all these videos. I am incorporating it in my aikido training.

@@JustMe-vz3wd I understood your meaning of "easy" and your thoughts on Aikido. My apologies. But you are wrong about one thing. I am... not Sensei, just a student.😅 I went to an MMA gym for a few years as a hobby, but I am a beginner in Aikido. I would have to call you a Sensei, as you have been training for 20 years.
