71 much better competition undefeated. Way more players drafted into NFL. Heck a second string defender became captain of the Oakland raiders and won a Super Bowl. 71 team played the number 2,3 & 4tesms in the country which combined averaged 33.6 points a game scored. The defense average giving up 8 points a game that year.

If the production team could add video to support the comments, as this is KZbin. Still photos, or no photos are pretty simple. I think if there were video clips to support 90% of the on air content, this channel would explode. Always enjoy the podcast audio style, but this is KZbin, we want supporting video.

Definitely Hutmacher and depending on how much he’s utilized Fidone too.

The NFL is a passing league; some team will definitely draft Jahmal Banks. He has size and experience putting up good numbers at Wake Forest, even with lackluster QB play in 2023. Looking forward to seeing what he does this season with Raiola throwing to him!

Coach Solich was my coach in High School. Southeast High School in Lincoln. Was a 10th grader and was noticed by him. So I began practicing with the varsity.players. Was finishing up a week of practice and was hit so hard by a player that I got my back broken. Which ended my football before it began. Solich was cool about all that. I could tell he felt genuinely bad about me getting hurt. I like him to this day very much. I just wish I had not gotten hurt so badly, so soon as a little 10th grade kid.

Sadly because of previous years the guys mentioned will be at the bottom of nfl draft boards but what I do see is they all will be awesome what ever team they go to!

This seems like some AI generated crap to me. I don't think Adam would have left Hutmacher off the list, even if it had to be titled the 5 most draftable.

Lavonte David is my all time favorite Cornhusker........................I have read in several places that many, many people say that he just might be the most overlooked player in modern NFL football...................if Vincent Shavers can duplicate Lavonte's play he will be absolutely as important and impactful player as Dylan Raiola.

I hope not. Does Nebraska really need another change? I think not, especially since he sounds like he could be a "fly in the ointment". Also, does Nebraska end up on the hook for any of Holgorsen's deferred comp? I have no problem with change but change for the sake of change is a recipe for failure. In addition, too many changes in a single year makes accountability very difficult.

My favorite Nebraska play ever was from the 1997 Orange Bowl when Ralph Brown shed a block and hit Jamal Lewis low causing him to half-flip and fumble; the rest is history!
