Curious, the ones found in water, are they creek stained or is that the natural material color?

Any artifact will have some type of patina because of years of being exposed to elements from nature. Water has a unique way of bringing out colors in materials.

I think every hunter is having the same luck. Seems it rolls this way some times. We got a foot of snow here in Central Indiana. Can't even hunt driveway rocks. I found a decent Big Sandy contracting base last week. Only point I've found in a month. Don't beat yourself to bad. I've found at the end of a dry spell of not finding much. There's something awesome that's discovered. I had a slow 2024. A few of what I did find was sweet as hell. I'm 55 years old. Found my 3rd whole Cobbs, first one from a creek. That one will be unforgettable. Found a drilled hole gorget last month. I wouldn't find the few that I did if didn't hunt at all is the way I see it. Better to have looked and not found. Than to have never looked at all. Where else we going to find the peace and serenity that we get in a cold creek or a muddy field. People search for that their whole life and never find it. Usually cause the don't know where to look. Good luck bro. I've seen your finds. There's a life changer laying out there somewhere that's for you. Thanks for sharing

...if it's unlawful to collect the point at your location, DELETE this video! Certain artifact "police" WILL raid you, and confiscate all of your artifacts, with no way for you to prove you legally collected any of them. Park rangers will surveil from a distance if they suspect you're collecting...
