What was to be just another ordinary arrowhead hunt, turned into one I won't be forgetting anytime soon. The amount of artifacts during this single trip is almost unheard of! Yes sir! One of the best when it came to quantity. If my mind serves me well, I believe I ended up with 16 whole points and over 29 broken ones that trip.

When I was 7 years old I lived in Rome, Georgia. We wanted to dig a foundation for a 10 by 25 greenhouse. In the process of digging we found two arrowheads, All I remember is that one was black and one was yellowish. The property on which these were found was a quarter mile from downtown Rome Georgia. I thought that was pretty cool.

You'll always notice shapes and figures in videos that can "look like" artifacts. But if I was searching that particular area you can best believe it was looked at thoroughly.😁

Any tips you can give a beginner in Missouri? No specific spots just certain types of creeks or some kind of feature you look for?

Usually where two main water sources connect is a good spot. Natural springs are another good place to look. If hunting fields, find the high spots from the rest of the terrain. Fields near a water source preferably.
