Is it possible for me to practice energies or to use selfmade symbols or selfdrawn symbols/drawings , that even all beings in the whole earth/universe don't know and aren't ever used, to use your own practice? Or is chaosmagic always based on something 'general known things/symbols/drawings' in on earth/universe by beings? So in other words, is it possible to practice, use and even create my own chaosmagic in a extreme personal way no being in the whole universe knows about? And is my question maybe actually what chaosmagic is about? Very interesting chaosmagic, I think I get the core essence of it, but don't know for sure, I'm going dive deeper in this subject! I maybe get the idea that 'non-binair' and 'non-local' of the quantum theories has something or even everything to do with chaosmagic, because the quantumfield is endless in possibilities. Is that true?

I have ADD and can barely even think for one. I'm having this problem where others keep trying to shove themselves into my attention and occupy my thoughts rent free, even trying to make their problems my problem.. For that matter what if we've already got one that feeds off us in a malevolent way...AKA a demon/entity? How would you get rid of it? For that matter all tulpas need energy. Do you really want to become a psychic vampire to feed it or be tired all the time?

Love this! I’ve mentioned previously that my husband is a Freemason and Knight. I also had a past life as a Knight Templar. Baphomet sits on my altar. All of my altars. My husband and I did watch this together and I asked him about Baphomet and specifically Freemasonry. His response, I don’t know… I don’t know… I don’t know. So he’s even sworn to secrecy from me, his wife. That being said, I do feel Baphomet has been portrayed wrongly and like you mentioned the fear mongering. I am planning on joining the Order of the Eastern Star. That being said, I still may never know what Baphomet means to the masons.

You may have a point with how Baphomet may be an entity created over centuries. As both a historian and criminal justice major I agree that control over a group of people by associating a symbol to them (Baphomet) means creating mass hysteria against fringe groups like pagan and mystic communities. It’s like the story of Saint Patrick in that sense. Snakes and Baphomet aren’t too dissimilar and it could be why snakes are associated with Loki yet it could very well be catholic bias again. Putting so much fear in people ends up creating the very thing itself anyway. It’s unfortunate that due to catholic bias we don’t get much recorded from other perspectives otherwise it’d be much easier to research and get an idea what these symbols REALLY mean if they have meant anything at all in history. But I’d say it’s easy catholic propaganda at the end of the day.

I’m glad I clicked on this video. Found your channel through Witch of Wonderlust’s recommended channels and didn’t expect a video that’s literally right down my alley. I can’t believe the movie Hundreds of Beavers has put me in a rabbit hole to this video. I haven’t thought about The Witch of Wonderlust for AGES and I made a conscious decision to watch this movie and SHE WAS IN IT. I had to confirm it but from her KZbin channel I found yours and thus, here we are. The world is very odd and wonderful, I’m really liking your vibe and as a history nut this book review has definitely peaked my interest in Baphomet Revealed. I look forward to more content, whatever that looks like!!

Really interested to hear more about this subject! I’ll put this book on my TBR list, this is random but Killstar, the gothic fashion brand, had some stuff not too long ago where they made slippers and household stuff where they were using Baphomet but they made it super cute, like little baphomet slippers and I didn’t know anything about it when I saw them but they were so cute! Maybe if anyone’s still scared of it have a look at those and you might see them as more cute and misunderstood than anything to be scared of? 🤷♀️🥰❤️❤️❤️

To my mind, the fear and hatred of Baphomet, the Devil, etc. is a manifestation of the societal fear and hatred of homosexuality/queerness. (Re: the charges of sodomy against the Templars as justification for their persecution).

Hi Ivy. in relation to the pronunciation of Eliphas Levi (in English) here it is: (Eliphas) eh - lee - fas (Levi) lee - vie [as in 'lie' or 'die' but starting with 'v]'. It's pronounced a little different in French [as he was French and so am I] but this is how you say it in English. Thanks for your podcasts. All the ones I've listened to I have taken/gained something from them. Looking forward to watching/listening to other podcasts. Kind regards - Joss

Hi Ivy. The way to avoid egotistical psychosis Re divinity is what I call the liminal path. "The practitioner does not exalt themselves as a god or dissolve into the divine but becomes a living bridge between worlds, embodying the sacred and the human simultaneously."

That was a good show. Very interesting. Regarding the Baphomet, I assumed he was John the Baptist (The true Messiah). He was beheaded (The head) at the bequest of Salome. The Mandaeans still acknowledge him as the Messiah. Also many churches throughout Europe have a carving of a head tucked away in a corner or above the beams where it will be rarely seen.

This was a great interview but I can't believe you didn't ask where does God fit in in all of this for him? Its something that is always on my mind when I think about demons and demon magic. Cipher was a former PASTOR, I so wish that this topic was delved into, if only to get an idea of where a Theistic Satanist stands about such a thing.

In my opinion, Baphomet is not a "new god" or egrigore; he is one of the primordials and represents the two of the one, perfect unity, the Rebis etc.

this is so timely for me, a few weeks a go baphomet showed himself to me in a vision. But like you said I've been programmed to fear them. I do not know what to make of it, but they haven't shown themselves to me since. I typically shy away from working with demonic entities since I am not well versed enough to work with them. thank you for this video, maybe if they show themselves again to me I wont be so scared.

I enjoyed this video and hearing your take on it. The image of a this horned figure can be found even further back than the Order of knights templar! In one form or another in every culture - there is a horned entity. Some believe Baphomet to be an incarnation of the horned god. India: Pashupati Slavic: Veles Scandinavian: Wodanaz Celtic: Cernunnos Greek: Pan Roman: Faunus Frankish/French: Baphomet Images of a horned figure can even be found in paintings from the stone age, making him one of the oldest deities to ve acknowledged and worshiped. I believe Baphomet to be yet another expression/incarnation of this figure like so many others long ago. 🤘🍎🐍
@IvyTheOccultistКүн бұрын
That's the debate! Is Baphomet an older horned entity or was he completely made up based off those old horned entities? The history is so interesting!
@Shadowman9348Күн бұрын
@@IvyTheOccultist When you see the connections & similarities in all cultures and the fact there is a horned entity in each one. There's no doubt that Baphomet is indeed inspired by the ones before him. It's truly amazing! Such a rich history that goes even further back. He may not have the same name, but certainly the same or similar characteristics.🤘🍎🐍

This may sound crazy, but I believe that Baphomet and Jesus could be one and the same. Aleister Crowley hinted at Baphomet being related to Jesus in 777. He pointed out that they both have the number 8 associated with them. Additionally, Jesus, like Baphomet, was an intermediary between heaven (above) and Earth (below). I could be way off here, but I really feel there is something to this. What do you think?

Baphie is my patron deity, who I’ve been closely working with since last year!! Although I am aware of most of all that is in the book, it is great to hear other perspectives, which brings about new illumination. This book keeps popping up for me, so I will most definitely now buy it since you posted this review! Baphie is far from how they are perceived today. Thanks Ivy! ❤

Ohh thank you for a well review/synopsis of this book. I’m still reading it and loving it. As you reviewed I was like “yes, yes, yes that and that … “😂 I like how she’s written this and will read other books by her based on this. I actually got the Audible version because I know someone was going to say “oh you’re reading about the devil” 😂and it’s so much more than what people perceive it to be. GO READ IT or listen to it. I’m with you on the history 🫣 lol she made it digestible and interesting or perhaps it was the subject matter BAPHOMET and wanting to learn more about it that kept me engaged. Nevertheless great book. 📕

Thank you for sharing this review! I was not very familiar with this symbol as Abrahamic-based occultism is not my style (similarly with angels, Lilith, kabbalah, Gnosticism, etc.) It is interesting how frequently religious symbolism is contorted throughout the centuries, often to serve the needs of those in power at any particular moment. I appreciate a well-researched book!!

As a Freemason and member of the OTO. I have mixed feelings of Baphomet. Part of my rational brain says it was slander against the Templars and was a tortured confession from Molay that has kind of taken a life of its own. But the metaphysical side of me now understands that even as a symbol it literally has taken a life of its own. History and any info is a fickle thing due to bias and half truths. At no point is Baphomet a part of Freemasonry in this day and age nor was he probably in the past.

I really encourage you to read The Book of Baphomet by Julian Vayne and Nikki Wyrd if you want to dig in this topic. Although I need to do a lot of historical checks, it presents a cohesive history and evolution of the image of Baphomet through magic symbolism and how it might be related to modern concepts of witchcraft (it is said that the Wiccan Cernunos was inspired in Pan AND Baphomet)

I did not know the figure but several times he appeared to me in my field of distorted vision in ayahuasca session. I got a little scared of course because I don't understand the entity. What I know is that he was dancing all over the place were I saw and from him the plants grow and insects appears like he was something like the architect of nature of some sort. But also I saw his face made of naked women and all like he was trying to bought me or something. Also in another intake of the drink I saw him in the night sky between the stars and I've started to feel like he was trying to enter in my heart (I felt like the energy was crawling from my arms but I've noticed that and go right away near the fireplace at the camp). I duno what all of this means but since he started to appear to me in the sessions, I've stopped going (and also was becoming expensive and I had to move to another country for studies)
