Excellent teacher. However, can you minimize the background music so we can clearly hear you? Thanks.
@keystochinese0921Күн бұрын
For sure. That was one of the videos I made in the beginning of my KZbin journey. My videos later have less and less background music.

This is massively helpful to me as I am learning. I like how you broke it down where we put S V O in those places and then fill in the color words. Also, you are feichang piaoliang. Xiexie from USA.

It doesn't work on android, it doesn't work on tv, it doesn't work on iMac. Totally useless.

So this extention is called Language Reactor now, and yes, you can use it on your iMac as long as you use a browser that supports extensions, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Safari does not support this type of plugin. 1) Download a Supported Browser: - Ensure you have Chrome or Edge installed on your iMac. 2)Install the Extension: - Visit the Language Reactor official website or search for "Language Reactor" in the Chrome Web Store. - Click Add to Chrome or Install. 3) Activate on Netflix: - Log in to Netflix on your browser and start playing a video. - Click the Language Reactor icon in your browser toolbar to enable it. - Set up dual subtitles and other learning tools. Ensure the show or movie you're watching has subtitles in the language you’re learning. The plugin uses Netflix’s subtitles, so the desired language must be available on Netflix.

I am always confuse with the 2nd and the 3rd tones, they seem almost similar
@keystochinese09213 күн бұрын
The 2nd tone is like saying "what?" which sounds like asking a question with intonation raised. The 3rd tone in a word often omits the "going up" part (shortened to a low, flat tone without the upward rise.) This is especially true when the third tone appears before another tone. Tip: Focus on keeping your voice low and steady, almost like holding a whisper.

Namaste 🙏 from the sacred soil of the Indian subcontinent. I am deeply grateful for your wonderful videos-they are a treasure of knowledge and inspiration. Your work has been immensely helpful for learners like me, and I cannot thank you enough for the effort you put into creating such meaningful content. I humbly seek your guidance on something I find a bit challenging. I am here for one request ma'am. The third tone is in Mandarin. Specifically, I struggle to understand how to read sentences with two, three, or even four third tones. It would mean the world to me and many others if you could kindly create a detailed video covering all aspects of the third tone in such cases. Your kind help and expertise would be a great blessing to learners like me, and I would be forever grateful for your support. I'll be very happy for considering this request. Thank you ---

he is tall. can we say simply . ta hen gao. i see many leacture but not understand how to now that such description is fact or not fact.
@keystochinese0921Ай бұрын
Yes. You can say “他很高” to describe a fact or express an opinion. In Chinese, 很 is habitually added before the adjective. If you want to stress that this person is incredible tall, you can use a different modifier such as 非常 and 特别. If u like point out that this is an opinion instead of a fact, you can say “我觉得他很高” or ”我妈妈觉得他很高,但是我不觉得”. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
