See I like slightly longer lengths when it comes to stripping because it makes peeling the insulation off easier because the hardest part is getting the peel started after its gone through the machine so I cut the MC into roughly 10 foot lengths with some cable cutters then fold, twist, and cut the jacket at the halfway point. Then step on it pull the jacket off one side then step on that side and pull the jacket off the other side exactly like you did with the longer piece you had at the end of that section. Doing it that way cuts way down on the folding and twisting because your only doing it once every 10 feet instead of once every 4 or 5. Then I take a bunch of the 10 foot lengths and clamp them in a vise and chuck each one in the drill and run in opposite direction to untwist the wire.

Maybe it would work if you were to get your hands on some true Map gas!! It’s pretty rare. Maybe somebody would have it on eBay? It might be kind of expensive.

If you heat it up to a boil and then soak it it will work a little better and faster !

Surround the crucible with a few fire bricks to concentrate the heat on the copper. Add borax when it is red hot.

Gold appears poised for strong performance this year, and I’m eager to capitalize on it. I have around $40,000 set aside for investment, but I’m not particularly adept at navigating the complexities of the market. What’s the best way to proceed?

It’s wise to avoid acting on every market prediction. Consulting with a financial expert before making investment decisions can provide clarity and help you make informed choices-just my two cents.

Many people underestimate the value of financial advisors when it comes to exploring new investment opportunities. However, over the past four years, my advisor has continually restructured and diversified my portfolio, resulting in over $3 million in gains. It may not sound like much to some, but it has provided me with significant financial security.

I’m glad to have come across this discussion. I’ve been hearing recommendations to work with a financial advisor, but finding a reputable one has been a challenge. Could you share the details of your advisor?

Rebecca Lynne Buie has consistently been my top recommendation. She’s widely recognized for her expertise in financial markets and has a strong track record. I highly recommend her.

Out of curiosity, I searched for the advisor you mentioned and easily found her webpage. I reviewed her qualifications, which are quite impressive, so I’ve already scheduled a call with her.

Great video 👍 If you ever wanted to make your own part , this is definitely worth your time, and the pop cans you see laying around on the ground are worth more than anything the recycling center will give you for them. 💥💲💵💚💵💲💥

You can melt it if you want, only if you do a very small amount. Like with the 2grams of gold.

Terrific concept and video. Especially the scrap melting strategy. I have my map equipment already, and Poorman's crucible, tongs, and graphite mold kit in transit as I type. Still need a stamping tool set for marking end product. TYVM for sharing this video. It really helps me be more confident in melting PMs. We have a bunch of 14k scrap, and I have some 24k commercial coin/bar products that will join some of my Maple Leafs and philharmonics in the melting lineup. Subbed, liked, and headed to your channel page soon, for past videos. Aloha from Honolulu.

I am learning and being taught by a 93yr old Navajo silversmith. Just got 4 of those bowl at a thrift store today and actually I melted a Mexican silver Oz coin w Propane. It was hot enough to do exactly what what just done. Instead of water, try using a muriatic acid solution, 1/4, part acid, always put water in 1st. But this will make that slab so shinny it's not funny.

I melted bronze (five old pennies) with a map torch. This was with my crucible shielded on all but one side with fire bricks. Even shielded with the fire bricks, I also couldn't get copper to melt. I think if you tried a much smaller volume of brass and shielded the crucible with fire bricks, you could get small ingots. I poured my molten bronze into little molds i made from Plaster of Paris.
