I can't tell if this video is making me feel better about life by showing me that no matter how low I get, I'll never get THIS low, or depressed about humanity and how people like this have room in our society and their behavior is somehow acceptable to anyone

You spend an hour and a half s******* on the show. I wonder if you could have spent 20 minutes and written and shot your own episode of Sherlock. I wonder how good that would turn out? Or would you just show us an existing episode, sit back and assume we'd think you were so smart and cultured for having watched the old episodes? You complain about how characters are different, or how an episode is a reference but isn't exactly like a previous story, but why? So you can act smart and tell everyone you read the story and know how it goes? Or so you can apply your existing knowledge and tell people about a character and how much you know about them? Why bother making something new then? It's different in everything, and yes, it's about Sherlock...but so what? The irony is you bag on the writing or Sherlock for being this super smart off camera character, when you are doing the same thing, providing no substantial evidence but rather preferences and indignation as "proof". Screaming in a high-pitched Ms Piggy voice doesn't add credence to your argument, it just makes you sound like a petulant KZbinr.

The bit about the Council choice in Mass Effect was funny to me because I actually chose to kill them on my first, otherwise completely paragon playthrough. I chose the option "focus on the reaper" which was functionally the same as letting the council die, and was then very confused when everyone treated my choice as evil and me as a racist... my logic was that killing the reaper ASAP and saving as many people as possible was more important than saving three "important" people. Oops.

1:55:26 One piece makes a lot of social commentary and constantly keeps exploring pretty dark themes. Maybe its because people don't wanna to dig 2mm into the story to see the obvious "racism bad, the rich are oppressors" message, but its there. And yet they still sell a bunch of merch.

"The last thing Moffat is ever going to write for Doctor Who......" *laughs in happened to click on this only a few days after "Boom"* this is an excellent analysis, i'm just dying over that particular phrase that as far as anyone in 2018 could tell was completely accurate, and hearing it only days after watching his return

As the lead designer of a company I can attest, that it is common practice to use “we” when talking about a product. If I talk to a customer I say “how we make this” when I talk to peers it’s “we make it this way” when I am the only one to actually have any input into the final product. So if any company or rep says “we” or “our” it means there is some guy or small team that is behind it who won’t be given proper due credit.

RWBY just got even worse with neoliberal nonsense, the RWBY volume 9 epilogue portrays the people of Vacuo, who have a bad history of being colonized by Atlas mind you, as being incredibly antagonistic jerks towards Atlas refugees, especially the orphans. In short, RWBY is trying to make people feel bad for the colonizers by making the colonized people be the bad guys. I seriously hope RWBY gets sold off and rebooted, I don't trust CRWBY to handle something as sensitive as colonization, especially not after how badly they fumbled the racism plotline.

For that religion debate, I'm confused... The question IS malformed. Look, you can s*** on the guy if you don't like him, but he's right to call out that the question is malformed. It's like asking "why is number 9 color red?" The question doesn't make sense.

Funny that people had to make a mod to get past the opening 😅 I've been making a save right before the exit of the opening on my first character in any Bethesda game just to skip it, ever since playing oblivion as a kid at a friend's house and having to experiencing that shit while just trying to chill. A lot easier to have a save for a quick character creator instead of playing through some mind numbing tutorial for the upteenth time 👌

I agree with 99% of this. That being said, in defense on energy weapons with no irons, every laser “beam” acts the same way as a tracer round in a real gun in the real world. We do see things like the mini gun being more aimed with tracer rounds over traditional irons. Considering all the laser beams are visible in could see it being fairly easy to use without irons. Not saying Bethesda actually thought of this and they really don’t deserve my defense, but as someone who’s worked in ballistic design it is possible to use visible ammunition as an effective way of aiming, especially in automatic weapons.

So I'm coming to this video extremely late, and there's basically nil chance you'll ever see this, but; I'm almost certain I have a pretty good idea where the '33 pounds' might've come from - as another Australian, the way me and my friends think about imperial conversion between kg and lb roughly translates to 'about double kilos to pounds/about half pounds to kilos - but a bit off' - at least, when we're doing it on the fly and don't want to bother actually calculating to 2.2. I know England is also metric, but maybe the lazy conversion is an Australian cultural thing, and I can absolutely imagine hearing "27 pounds", and doing the quick maths by rounding up to thirty and then halving it for the rough kilos. And _then,_ if that's the notation that needed to be *re-*converted for the final script and graphic, bing bang boom it's now about 33 pounds, haha tl:dr laziness-based double conversion error from pounds to kilos back to pounds again is my guess, though the *further* question begged by that, being: 'why the hell you wouldn't be a bit less careless when uploading an international project to be viewed by millions and also oops, you plagiarised it and probably wanna watch those details even closer lest you also get caught', well; the explanation for that one is a bit above my pay-grade. Maybe he wasn't originally intending to use the article for more than first draft notes, but went full plagiarist due to time-pressures and didn't clean up?

I like how your viewers are obsessed with Tommy Tallarico now much like Thunderfumble was with Anita. Tommy is being mentioned everywhere, his mother would be so proud. I think that does highlight how ye olde youtube algorithm, and off-platform social effects, worked though. Yes Thunderwaffle is ill but he was also hansomly rewarded for basically making the same video over and over and over again with just a random subject in the title and thumbnail. Saves a lot of time if you don't have to do research when your viewers lap up your 9000th verbal diahrrea about Anita again. I'm glad your hard work kind of pays off for you Harrybomberguy but I'm sure there are lots of people working harder than Tommy, James, Turderf00t, Blair etc etc etc... that are not doing as well as those charlatans. It must not be easy to resist the temptation to cut corners when the bar is buried in fucking mud.
