4:17 30% less sales doesn't seem that bad. MW2 2022 broke records. And MW3 2023 was considered a DLC and has a MetaCritic review of 58% So only 30% less despite the negative reception is actually a W Personally I loved MW3 2023. Definitely my favorite MP of the post 2019 era

I'll buy it when there's a third zombies map. If CW is anything to go by, most of my BO6 playtime will be on Zombies. Especially now that I don't need specific weapon levels for an arbitrary challenge. Half of my pitiful 2 day playtime in CW MP was leveling up the guns so I can get on the Dark Aether grind in Zombies

No early access campaign is a tragedy honestly. Also, I don't know if my shipment and nuke town 24/7 addiction will end lol It's just too nice to turn brain off and grind. But I do honestly want to make an effort to learn and play new maps this year instead of just shipment, nuke town, and Das haus. Honestly I don't even know most of the mw3 maps because I only play shipment. Like I figured out there was a Tokyo map a little while ago and that was cool.

Also I would like to add, even though I trust treyarch the most I do agree no crew is lazy and I wish they would've made the hud feel more zombies like and done more with liberty balls. I thought they were just going to add dark aether to liberty falls and call it a day but damn they didn't even do that.

If I recall correctly they said how they had 2 months to make those changes in their blog post so... ya it's pretty minimal effort but hey, they're probably busy with bo7 as infinity ward was with mwii and mwiii. I trust Treyarch to make a pretty good zombies gameplay wise but they're also responsible for Vanguard and MWZ so idk 😅 I'll always have hope but not as much

Mastery camos that are not animated and maps that are not 3 lane maps *cough mw19*. Reason being: if they can't even make the mastery camo distinctive enough for those who work hard to obtain it, what other corners have they cut. Also I hated the recent trend of them making maps of random places and hoping it works as a map. Cod maps need to be 3 lane maps to flow correctly, think of all of the best maps in cod: nuke town, terminal, shipment, etc. What do they all have in common? They're 3 lane maps. And think of the worse maps in cod, Piccadilly, wasteland, border crossing, etc. None of them are 3 lane maps. There's a reason every map in valorant and even other games like league follow this philosophy, it works very well with the feeling of flow in the game. And adding smaller routes in between to connect these 3 lanes allows for strategic flanking plays as well. You can't just take a random place on Google earth and turn it into a map by drawing a squiggly border around it.

Solid matt suki video as always! However! I will say i had so much fun on the beta and really love the maps! I know 3 lanes are the most common favorite but i kinda fell myself really enjoying the change in map layout, i had fun running different strategies and learning the best way to use the layout to my advantage! It was a lot of fun and i am overall very happy with the beta!

That's good to hear! I think if I got to play more on my console without all the weird Aim Assist issues and frame drops, I would have had a MUCH better experience(like maybe 7/10). Map wise, I can't say I'll like the small ones, they're not for me no matter what lol. I hope zombies is good though, I'm really looking forward to that

The maps don’t have to be large but can be like refined large maps where it’s not sloppy and all over the place! While still having medium and small maps!

Lol ya about that, bo6 was hyped up heavily but I've been very skeptical about it and the supposed 4 year dev time... longest dev time a cod has ever gotten... and it seems like my skepticism is paying off. Game looks kind sketchy and people are realizing it now.

A few days ago, I joked in Reddit about how hard it was to get one of the better mods (something that can be used to upgrade or sidegrade a warframe or a weapon. Basically, attachments). An old player in the comment section just gave that mod to me for free. Another time, I was trading some high-end mods for platinum (The game's premium currency). One of the players probably saw that I was relatively low level and paid me 50 plat for a mod that should cost around 10 plat.

This ruined Fortnite. Why would you want this in CoD? Nobody likes getting a kill only to realize "Oh, it's a bot." Imagine getting a quad only to realize "Oh, one of those kills were bots". Etc etc. I could see boot camp from Bo1 returning but just flat out adding bots to all modes would definitely make a ton of people leave (not saying it would kill the franchise because cod has way too many addicts/ fanboys for it to die).

A good connection beats a dead laggy game imo. + a whole team doesn't need to be bots. You only need maybe 1 if someone leaves mid match or if no one is in your area

@@Mattsuki They could also just remove SBMM so matches don't take 10 years to find. CoD games from a decade ago can find a match almost instantly because they were built to prioritize ping over anything else. Skill played very little part. If it was 1 bot, it wouldn't even fix the issue you're proposing. So I don't understand how you see this as a valid fix to SBMM unless you're proposing it as a compromise since Activision doesn't wanna tone down SBMM.

Yeah, it is supposed to be a compromise. I think I mentioned having 1 bot per team in the YT short? That was to allow very sweaty players in very sweaty lobbies an easier chance to get their streaks. I don't really see the problem with how Fortnite does it either. Like a few bots are in the lobby but most are real people. The bots are designed to land near players that don't land in popular areas. It just keeps the action going. I can tell when enemies are bots too by the way they move. It's just a little bit of aim training early in the match really.

Carry forward is a fantastic feature but it just doesn’t make any sense as to why it would be in the new Black Ops especially since Carry Forward was meant to align the past two MW entries considering they both take place within 2-3 years and not connect MW with BO

I disagree that shipment is not a skillful map. In fact I would argue the exact opposite, the best players in the game play shipment 24/7. To top frag on a shipment 24/7 match requires good game knowledge and high level knowledge of movement and gun mechanics in the game. It is meant for players who don't want to waste time running around a mega map looking for casual players that are camping with claymores and holding pixel peaks. Call of duty is not a game about camping, it is an action shooter. I don't want to run around a map for 12 minutes and get like 8 kills. I want to be in constant action, improving my aim, movement, and game mechanics. If you want to play casually with other noobs, nothing is stopping you from playing the extensive number of casual Playlist and maps. Why can't people let good players just have this one game mode? I don't really get it. Same with camo progression, if you wanna take triple the amount of time to get the same camo as me, be my guest you can play however you want. I want to get the camo as fast as possible because I want to be able to play with it longer before the next cod comes out. Also Jev is completely correct about warzone which is why most multi-player players including me despise warzone with a passion. Warzone is a casual game mode meant to siphon money from casual players that buy skins and battle pass shit trying to cash in on the battle royal trend. It's not an authentic call of duty experience and it takes away development from multi-player, the same way multi-player took away development from zombies in recent years. Again no hate towards you or your opinions but top fragging on shipment 24/7 is for skilled players and warzone is siphoning money and resources from multi-player.

There is a skill in learning the 3ish damage ranges, recoil control over range, map positioning(to stay alive, avoid streaks, and to get more kills than your teammates) on actual 6v6 sized maps in cod. No, no one likes claymore campers, however a very common problem with them on the opposite end are revenge killers... that would explain going 8 kills in a 10* minute match. Players that only try to revenge kill often don't change up their loadouts or are too focused on revenge killing that they just keep dying the same way over and over. On shipment, you only design classes for 1 playstyle, let's not act like shipment takes so much skill. You're on the tiniest map in the game, therefore it is BY FAR the quickest to learn. Ontop of that it has been in cod nearly back to back in games for 8 years??? mwr up to mwiii(minus 2 BO cods). "Why can't good players have this one mode?" Good players play ranked, tf you mean "noobs and casuals can play casual playlists?" You're in the most casual one that takes the fastest time to learn. It's the one warzone noobs go to to rank up guns! It takes the fastest time to get camos on as well no matter the skill level BECAUSE stronger sbmm has existed since 2019's mw! Like SBMM alone should discredit any argument saying "only noobs play ______ mode"

Camp progression: lmao, that's my point! I'm forced to play modes that take ×4 as long to get camos yet they're requiring me to do so much more than shipment to even earn them! I'm no stranger to shipment, I've played many long nights on it and gotten many mastery camos. If I didn't, I wouldn't have made this video. It's just completionist camos at this point though, the mastery status has been wiped clean off of them which was my biggest point here. Mastery Camos don't exist.
