Thank you for the video! :) I'm arriving in Bali on Friday. As of now, I'm still scheduled to spend two days in Singapore. Depending on what happens by Thursday, I may extend my stay in Singapore, take my chance in Bali or re-route to Thailand. Sending prayers to Bali.

Seauxphia thanks for your comment! We'll hope for the best of course, and if I can make a suggestion take a look around for a good mask in case we get a heavy ash fall, assuming the volcano will erupt. I'm having a hard time finding good masks here in Bali. Just a suggestion.

Even if your local volcano is quiet, there are new eruptions around the Pacific Rim of Fire. Paying attention like to tsunami channels gives safe options, just as mariners pay attention to the tides.

Winds can change, most airlines will be playing safe, for sure. Play safe and be sure that you're willing to take the risk.

We had a flight arriving 03 Th October in Bali.Our priority it is to be save ! and we are not flying. An expert said if the volcano erupts a cloud of gas,ashes and rocks could/will ( ?) be 20 km high,you can hope that the wind will not change and that you are save if you are enough km away but as you do not know if or when is going to happen you can also not know how strong it can be and how powerful mother nature can be ! i understand that if you live in Bali you have more arguments to stay but as a tourist that is not there yet, why take risks because of a holiday even if it is i paradise ! it is our opinion,may be it is too fearful but we will not go now to Bali.
