All plants have complete protein (all 20 amino acids). Proteins are broke down into amino acids during digestion and reassemble as needed. Many plants dont have the same ratio of amino acids as meat. Complementary proteins is a concept pushed decades ago that says to eat legumes and grains in the same meal. Beans and Rice, Peanut Butter on Bread, Tofu and Rice, Beans and Corn are common meal combos. Current says eating a variety of plants over the day is good enough and the average whole food vegan will get 70% more protein than needed. Excess protein is turned to sugar and fat with the nitrogen excreted as urea in the urine. When you smell protein in the urine you are eating too much usually. Smell sugar in the urine is a problem too.

@DrSusanBrownКүн бұрын
Yes, magnesium is generally safe and beneficial for people with an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism). In fact, magnesium plays a key role in overall health and can help with some common symptoms of hypothyroidism, such as muscle cramps, fatigue, and constipation.

Take 15-30 mg of zinc daily, ensuring it’s within safe limits. Zinc might aid in taste recovery post-COVID, but consistency and a balanced diet are key. Use reminders to make zinc supplementation part of your daily routine. Listen to Dr. Brown explain how much zinc you should be taking in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d520pZlpbJiditE

Have had blood and bone density tests. Blood work all normal and bone loss T score -2.6. 10 year risk 17.3% (hip risk 6.1%). Dr painted a terrible picture if I were to fall and break a bone. Could get a blood clot. Could end up in wheel chair. However, taking alendronate sodium tablets could cause dental and jaw problems and thigh bone breakage. Not to mention pain in bones, joints, muscles, and possible esophagus problems. If this drug is supposed to help your bones why does it also attack them. You also cannot take dairy or iron within 1 hr of taking this drug. It states it is not known how long alendronate sodium tablets work for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis.

If someone has fractured in T10, T11, T12 spine, can they get a low risk fracture score ? Would the REMS test be recommended in this case? Where can I find a document that shows how to read the REMS results?
@DrSusanBrown2 күн бұрын
Here is a video from Dr. Bush and Zambito explaining the REMS reports kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGHXlJ-dbbGMd9E A person with fractures in the T10, T11, and T12 vertebrae is unlikely to have a "low-risk" fracture score, as these fractures indicate underlying bone fragility or trauma, which can elevate their risk profile for future fractures. However, the exact risk depends on the cause of the fractures and other clinical factors.

I go to gym a lot and adult can taking 30mg zinc everyday be good take it for months and then take a break and can I a also take it without copper
@DrSusanBrown2 күн бұрын
Taking 30 mg of zinc daily can be safe for most adults, especially if you are active and require additional nutrients due to frequent gym workouts. High zinc intake can interfere with copper absorption, leading to potential deficiencies over time. Zinc and copper compete for absorption in the gut.

Choline can be found in eggs and liver and animal protein as well as fish, dairy, nuts and seeds. We tend to be deficient in Choline and it is hard to get optimal amounts in diet.

Thank you.Does Vitamin K2 reverse calcification or only prevent further calcification?
@DrSusanBrown6 күн бұрын
Evidence suggests that vitamin K2 primarily prevents further calcification of soft tissues (like arteries) and promotes healthy calcium deposition in bones. However, there is evidence suggesting that Vitamin K2 might also help reverse existing calcification to some extent, though this effect is less well-established and likely depends on the severity and duration of calcification, as well as other factors like diet and overall health.

No because these doctors didn’t talk about the risks involved or the nutrients we can take to offset the side effects from radiation. I think we’re going to tell these doctors exactly what we think and tell them that they just lost a patient because of their ill care will go see someone else and document everything maybe make a documentary too.
@jamesjirik22458 күн бұрын
My father did bloodwork and a CT scan then of course the doctors want to have them do a whole pet scan flutters body with more radiation but they don’t talk about the nutrients you should have or the risks involved that goes to show you it’s one-sided vent on the side of them winning meaning charging your insurance and getting you to be there lab rats they don’t care about you put up a fight ask questions resist.
