I personally disagree on the last comment. Phantoms of the Asteroids was an INSANE tune for its time. I still blast it out driving to work 😂 Rob Hubbard is an absolute legend, no doubt

Pinhead dosent kill people who are unworthy of punishment this implies the preist was not a truly godly man of pure heart or he dosent truly believe in god. We can confirm this because in the scene before this the presit tells joey that there are not such thing as demons only metaphors.

Finally a list without audio commentaries... thank you! As an improvement, I would suggest a discreet permanent display of the title. Maybe this can also be accommodated as a disc somewhere in the background? In any case, well done, it brings back memories... oh, what a carefree and hopeful time it was.

A very good list and gets my seal of approval. With soooooooooooo many games for the C64, creating a top# list has to be a nightmare for anyone. There are still some games, even on this list, that I never had a chance to try. A few I would have liked to have seen: Pitfall II, 7 Cities of Gold, The Gold Box Games (AD&D as 1 entry), Ocean Ranger. I was very happy to see Wasteland hit your top 10. What a gem!

I finally finished Fist 2 on an emulator in my twenties because the original always bugged out for some reason, but I absolutely love it. It has some really neat concepts and areas. And Gauntlet was the game that my best friend and I played religiously a whole year every time we met.

Kung Fu Master was the game that made me a gamer. I played it in a school with some older kids (my father was a principal) and they showed me this one and Commando. I had played some games on Vic 20 before, but this was just on another level. I got my own c64 the following Christmas I think.

Definitely bringing back a LOT of memories. The music ALONE tells me which ones I remember playing, and which ones I didn't. The music in between clips was the best--Commando, wasn't it? I played that for HOURS! The best part of the C64 was BASIC. It was the EASIEST language to write in. I wrote a Banner program that created dot matrix banners, using each letter of a banner to create that letter...a Data Match program with 200 questions that I used on all my friends to match them up (I was always great at knowing what questions to ask, and knowing what made people compatible--I successfully created 22 different couples, 4 of whom ended up dating through high school and got married. They're welcome! LOL)...AND a great space-based game with glowing crystals you had to maneuver a ship down through tight spaces to destroy in order to move up through levels. I actually tried to sell that last one, but by then, Commodore was shutting down and wasn't interested.
