I gotta run theory abt the bloody doors We know 4 things, 1) the door is locked and leads to an important building, 2) there’s something inhuman going on, 3) the trail of blood, and 4) the scratch marks are on the outside of the doors What u think happened is that if that’s a military watch tower, a patrol saw something in the water (possibly the merman or the Loch Ness monster) and they went to the shore to investigate, one of them was attacked so the rest ran back and locked the doors. The one that was attacked made it back to the locked doors (first hint at the blood trail). Now there’s two roads that appear here, 1) they let him back in, but he has a virus of some sorts unknown to the rest. So they lock the doors in case whatever is out there comes back. The infected turn into zombies (canonically (maybe) explaining zombies) 2) they don’t let him in, and he gets dragged by the monster back to the water (second hint at the blood trail) The first option seems better imo as it explains the noises and the zombies

so uhm i have plans to make another custom campaign that takes place in my home province of south holland it's going to be called deadly dunes because the city behind the dunes so the survivors start in the hague and have to get to the evacuation at the pier in scheveningen and there will a familiar face being doug rattmann from portal who needs the survivors to find 5 books for him and he will give you a key to outside of the library and thats it

Black ops 3 is where everything went wrong with the story. World at war to black ops 2 pre origins, it was shrouded in mystery and wonder that the community participated in and it was so much fun watching videos theorizing the story. But then black ops 3 had to introduce these heavy handed storylines, that awful Doctor Monty character, with the timeline being established that took away from the appeal of the story. Mystery and discovering the map’s secrets.
