Dude, I just wanted to say your armor is amazing. My brother Rob has your Vader and Fett on either side of his theater screen right now and it still looks gorgeous. When he wears it… majestic.

Damn, so bad print quality! Even light direction can't hide it. It is definitely not for everyone.

If you don't 3D print a dragon and make armor for it, I'd be a little disappointed.
@chrismiralles10543 күн бұрын
Wow that's so awesome 3D printers are useful it helps you reduce minimal cost and representation of items or armor you want to produce with certain material. Also you can use it to make a scale model of projects you want to figure out.

I’ve never heard of a pebble tool? Where can I find it?
@tylerhimmer29243 күн бұрын
Would it affect the shape of the greaves if I were to sew them instead of using rivets.

How much filament did it take?

I have seen videos of making custom mannequins for armor customers. The buyer wears a tightly-fitting long-sleeve shirt & pants (tight yoga clothes or pajamas?) that are wrapped in layers of stiff plastic duct tape. The shirt and pants are cut and removed from the buyer, and then the cuts closed up with more duct tape. The openings at the sleeves, neck and ankles are also sealed with duct tape. The upper and lower halves have skeletons of wood or PVC pipes and then the halves are filled with spray insulation that greatly expands in the air. This stiff mannequin is used to fit the armor parts. - Body Double! Make A Duct Tape Mannequin kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5WpdX1se6iYpZI

Stupid question could you use an airbrush for the dye etc?
@Princearmory3 күн бұрын
Yes it's very common, just mind your air pressure so you don't overspray your whole workspace with dye pigment

I am actually already an accomplished leathercrafter, I was just binging your videos for the interesting patterns, the edge patterns and the chill vibes, but actually as I was watching you remind me that I wanted to bevel the edges of the project I was currently doing before painting, so I graved all the things I starting beveling and doing the edges while watching. So just for that I am goinf to subscribe XD thank you for the reminder
