I am an Ethiopian Track and Field Coach. I don't need our historical legends Abebe Bikila and Mamo Wolde's three in a row Olympic Men Marathon gold win to be broken. However, I like and respect this man and wish him success. In this generation, Eluid Kipchoge is a true professional and role model for the coming generation to me. Bless you Kipchoge. With Regards!!!

Kipchoge was my inspiration to run the marathon. He's superhuman. Metronomic, relaxed and so fast.

An awesome athlete and an even better human. Unfortunate that we will never know how the baton would have been handed over from Kipchoge to Kiptum.
