Did you plug up the AIS sensor? This is the only thing keeping me from gettting my ECU tuned by 2wdw, since it seems kind of difficult to remove the tank to get to the AIS
@2WCapoКүн бұрын
@@DPMAce don’t laugh but you can actually achieve the same results if you remove the air hose that comes out of the left side of the bottom of the air box, and block it with a marble. It prevents the airflow to the AIS sensor the same way block off plates do but for the cost of a marble lol. I’ve had mine like that for 10k miles and it runs great.

You may have luck with a good sport touring tire like the Road 5/6. They have a less aggressive profile and can make the bike a bit more stable. The MT10 needs a little help making it more flickable so I’m going with a 200/60 rear tire next time which gives it a taller steeper profile.

Maaaan listen. Had a '08 KLR for years. Now have '24 ABS which happens to be same color scheme as the one u rode. Just off looks alone it's a crowd pleaser! From people that don't ride to bike owners, compliments don't stop!💪🏾 Literally have sport bike riders follow me to TallBoy and walk around him checking out every detail. And u were correct: Nothing on the KLR changed except plastics, speedometer, and NO CARBURETOR...🤜🏾🤛🏾🎉 That fuel injection was greatly needed! Winter starts with choke was maddening ...😄. Also still find myself missing 2nd gear from 1st because of that shifter placement (all models). But biggest difference is acceleration. Easily get to 90mph (highway) compared to KiLleR (my '08) that struggled past 70 but managed to get to 110 on occasions. On windy days (highway) is when I wish they were a bit heavier. So imagine being on a DR400...😄. Faster? YES! Everything else?? 👎🏾 But the reason the KLR is legendary is because it's a true dual sport. Comfortable on road (Cadillac of dual sports), more than enough torque off road, and the suspension is set for both options. Compared to KTM Super Adventure R or S and it's a no brainer. They're more expensive AND u have to choose which to buy based on ur riding needs...😂. WHAAAAT?!
