Modifying the 2023 MT-10 With Pyramid Plastics PT.2

Another installation of the latest parts from Pyramid Plastics
Today I'm installing a new paint matched wind screen as well as Pyramid's "Infill Panels" to give the 2023 MT-10 a more complete look, similar to how the last generation MT-10 came from the factory.

The MT-09 is awesome, no regrets. It was mainly because of how similar the 09 is power wise to my ZX6R, which is what led me to the 10. Thanks for watching!

Looks great. I have a black 23 that I wrapped in 3M matte pine green metallic (2080-M206), which gives it a Streetfighter V2 vibe. I'm thinking about adding some bits to fill in some of the space, especially on the sides. Cheers.

Seat cowl as well will finish it off. I'm wanting to paint the rear tail the same.e colour as the bike to finish that off and a TST rear light. When I get the bike lol.

Might do a TST tail light soon, I wanted a rear seat cowl but I sometimes have a passenger so I haven’t done it yet.

@@2WCapo does come off pretty quickly on these it's just a cover over the seat.

nicely done I have similar look , prev had the blue mt10 2022 now changed to the black with the decat please do that ECU remap also add the TST rear taillight finishes it better.

Any issues with the belly pan from exhaust heat? Or reviews from people with aftermarket exhaust and the belly pan?

No problems so far, I’ve taken off the belly pan for oil changes and it looks like new still.

That's a perfect wind deflector for a naked bike! It makes the headlights look better as well. Digging the low-profile "Pyramid" logo. Very clean

Yea the matte / satin paint looks great. Much better than the shiny plastic OEM one in my opinion.

Looks so much better but also like it could be original spec. You should consider respraying the end can with heat resistant satin black but leave the tip silver.

What mirrors are you running? Looking to ditch the oem ones on mine for some bar ends.

CRG Arrow Bar Ends on some FENRIR bar end adapters from Amazon. Love the mirrors but the CRG adaptors were friction fit while the Fenrir screw into the threads of the handlebar.

What kind of tank grips do you have?

I still have the stock oem grips, but I’m considering replacing them with something soon. Possibly some domino grips.

@@Dsklar41 oh haha my bad I thought I read hand grips for some reason. The tank grips are TecSpec grips but the middle one didn’t want to lay flat so I put a Puig tank protector.

How much weight did all the cool looking plastic bling add on? Personally I am thinking of investing on ridding some weight off this 467llb porkster! Top of my list is forged wheels which I have been quoted is a FIFTEEN POUND reduction in unsprong weight! I guess the rough cast stock wheels are quite heavy....shame Yamaha does not at least give us MT-10 owners the spin forged wheels similar to all the MT-09 platform models Another nice weight loss high and mid chassis would be simply a a swap to a lithium battery! (11 llbs savings) I'd also love to lose the cats but first I need to find a large quiet end can/muffler which so far I dont see anywhere. Anyway cat delete can save maybe 15llbs? Two of those things might also count as major bling depending on the beholder but honestly I did not buy this bike to sit and stare at. Another couple mods I am intersted in is a high end rear shock, and woodcraft adjustable rearsets and also their "clip on" bars (which of course are not actuall clip ons but adjustable 3 piece bars which I am thinking might get some more weight on the front tire idk But fr the weight savings not counting that some of this might add some ounces idk but the wheels exhaust and battery maybe minus 42 pounds? 425 llb wet for an MT-10 sounds very sweet indeed!

The parts I added were minimal in weight, I think I shaved 12 lbs off when I removed the cat and swapped a Leo Vince mid pipe. Since I already have a track bike the MT10 weight doesn’t bother me much. But your right it is a heavy beast.
