wish we had these times back again today. his "racism" was just good-natured funny, not real nasty spite, and society could laugh at itself. we werent a bunch of uptight hypersensitive po-faced wankers like today

My father worked in Manchester Town Hall and if any branch of Manchester civil society needed to raise money, like the Firemen for instance, they always approached Bernard first. He never said no, he gave them his club for free and did a free turn for them on stage as well. A true gentleman and comic hero

When Bernard was dying his son asked him if he wanted cremating or burying and Bernard replied..... surprise me.

Never seen any of them but the last guy was closest to Elvis' voice. Shawn Klush is THE best Elvis act I have seen, I have been an Elvis fan 56 years so I am very critical .

I was standing in line at the buffet in Reno and they had a impersonator on a small stage and he was sooo good I let people go by me so I could watch the whole show. I think it was the first one.

I had the pleasure of speaking to him on the phone asking him for directions to the Embassy Club. It was about 5pm on a Saturday evening and he was the one that answered the phone. Initially i thought it was a recorded message but it was Bernard himself. Class act!
