Totally agree she’s one of the greats, but I think she did get full recognition, you could feel the shock and grief when she passed away from public and celebrity alike, heartbreaking it came so close to Victoria Wood’s passing too.

People always tend to immediately say things such as "underrated" and "not enough recognition" when someone has died. Well I think after 11 awards and 5 nominations, she did get the deserved recognition. It's just tragic that her life was cut so short.

Every episode was brilliant. I remember her heated debate on conservation. 'Sting he's great isn't he, all that saving the rainforest. But where was he when they dug up our bowling green.' Brilliant. I also loved her routine Sister Immaculate who was a catty nun. Much missed Caroline.
