I did this, mine was a little smaller, I used Montreal steak seasoning and it took 2 hours to cook. I hope this helps anybody who might need to know this info. Just use the rub that is your favourite, mine was amazing and very juicy too. Shame James is not doing videos anymore, he was a massive help to me with both the speedi and the grill.

I think after you put the grill marks on them, I would then take them and wrap them very tightly in foil. Then after an hour or so, open the foil and add the bbq sauce and continue to cook them with the foil open. That way, they'd probably fall apart and you won't need a knife to separate the ribs. With pork, you want the bone to be cooked too, even though you don't eat the bone. The way to know when the bone is cooked is when the meat releases from it without a knife. Same thing with chicken.

Did you make a note of the internal temperature of the chicken after the machine had finished its warm up procedure and how long did the machine take to get up to temperature please? I’m wondering if the pre heat function started to cook the chicken, so if I do this recipe, perhaps I could put the chicken in after the pre heat and it would be ready at the same time as the potatoes?

very nice, i would say for medium rare 2m30s each side for the thinner normal steaks. The good thing is much less smoke and no fire alarms going off die to the filter =)

I previously just used the Medium Grill for 20 min and the outside developed a hard and dry "shell". I tried this method and it had a similar problem. I'm a little disappointed in the grill, so I am hoping to find the correct technique to avoid this.

Hi James. I'm loving your videos and thank you for the inspiration to cook with my Speedi. I love meatloaf but sadly in the UK we can't easily get hold of ground beef, only minced, which is not the same. We can put it into a food processor to get the desired ground beef texture but it is quite time consuming. Anyway, I will make this recipe soon and let you know how I get on. On a different note, and I'm sorry to be pedantic, but if you take the "ces" out of Worcestershire and pronounce it a bit like Woostershire you will be much closer to how we Brits pronounce it. Sorry!

Looks lovely. I'm doing mine with new potatoes, broccoli and asparagus.

I think that it says on page 10 using Grill plate in note: To prevent spillage, never let grease or oil build up while cooking. It is recommended to drain the grease or oil in a container so the Grill Plate does not overfill. My thought is then WHY WOULD THE CRISPIER PLATE BE WHERE YOU PUT MEAT WHERE GREASE WILL DRIP ON ELEMENTS? That is a fire hazard. DO NOT DO THAT. Use the Grill Plate for meat.
