There are some comments about mutual respect and that this is gaslighting, so I just want say... Nope, she's not gaslighting. I have not counted, but off the top of my head, wives are encouraged in at least four different places on this point. So you all know... Husband's are called to lay down their lives (i.e. die to self) as Christ did for the church, His bride. EVEN IF a husband is disobedient or an unbeliever, a wife can still honor God and demonstrate her love for Jesus in action by showing respect for her husband. Again and again, in my life I have had to trust and obey my Lord "in the dark" (so to speak) when nothing makes sense and the people around me are telling me to do otherwise. Yet, again and again, when I look to Him, trust Him, and seek to be obedient and transparent in my failings and emotional pain, Jesus has been my strong Man, my Helper in time of need, and He is the only One who is able to help me grow in self control and love, and also bring the heart change/new birth in others that only He can bring. The question may loom in some, "But what if my husband never changes?" I would remind her (and myself when necessary) of the boldness, confidence, and audacity of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in their response to the threat of being tossed into a furnace. I absolutely love their response and it brings me such joy and courage... “Nebuchadnezzar, we are not in need of an answer to give you concerning this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. BUT EVEN IF HE DOES NOT, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods nor worship the golden statue that you have set up.” (see Daniel 3, emphasis mine) My husband does not dictate my relationship with Jesus. Jesus died for ME. I am His and He is mine. I am safe in Him and I trust Him. I deeply want to be more like Him. He is wonderful. If He tells me to do something, it is my desire to do it. I CAN, through Christ who strengthens me, seek to love my husband, pray for God's mercy and grace on his life, and as necessary speak the truth in love, allowing God (as if He needed to be allowed lol) to work everything out in His own time. God is trustworthy and faithful. ❤️

Could you possibly do a video addressing anxiety and panic for Christian women? Just this year, I started experiencing an underlying panic every day, sometimes about not being able to get everything done in a day, sometimes about sleep, sometimes about finances or the future... I started a notebook with scripture to fight with and I turn to it, and repeat scripture to myself all day long... But it's hard!! Sometimes I wonder if other Christian women experience this too!!
