Thank you. I am a young/new wife, mom, and homemaker. I currently suck at it. I am often disheartened at not just my lack of skill and organization at keeping my home, but also often my depression about it - even though I prayed so hard to have this opportunity my whole life. I wasted so many years going to brunch, drinking with friends, and “having fun” when I honestly could have learned the things that would bring me the most joy now - cooking delicious and quick meals regularly and keeping an orderly home. Those are the things that truly matter. The only place I strove for in excellence was my career, and now that I’m a mom my priorities have shifted so much that I could care less about my degree/title compared to what educational or fun activity I have planned for my toddler today. Please share more tips and pray that the Lord can help me advance quickly in this season of life.

I can very much relate, I was the same in my early years of motherhood as well. Keep praying and working hard towards the goal of learning now. It is hard work, but it’s so worth it! And it does get easier over time as you get more confident and learn what needs to be done next.

Ever since I have been studying about what is exactly God's design for women. His word reformed me. I acknowledge that I am imperfect, and even my weaknesses and even my fallenness lead me to Him more. Truly everything He allows to happen is for my own good and for His glory. I thought the tip for starting out new diets was great! I also love that you're planning to share simple meals...I could use help in this area. 😅 I'm used to cooking at home daily, but need meal ideas like this one that can be done in less time amd still be wholesome! Thank you for saying such lovely and encouraging words to us homemakers! This was a great reminder of how important our role as a homemaker is! ❤ It's easy to get lost in the mundane tasks and become frustrated when tasks are not being completed "on time." But cleaning the house is not the main focus of a homemaker (though it is important). Leading our children by example of being self controlled, even tempered, and kind is important. Correcting our children to obey the Lord because their actions offended Him, and not because we feel offended. These are more important tasks, and if we lose sight of this, what does it matter if the dishes are washed at the end of the day? Thank you for taking the time to encourage others and share your wisdom! Looking forward to more content!

Hello! I'm Marianna from Ukraine and I'm so glad I found your channel. Your videos make me cry. I dream of the same lifestyle as yours. I have a loved one, but we cannot be together because of the war. I graduated from higher education, but for a long time I couldn’t find a job and didn’t know what to do. We really have few jobs, and I also live outside the city and there are problems with transport. My family is angry with me because I am unemployed, although I do a lot of things around the house and our agriculture. Later I realized what I wanted to do in life. I want to do some part-time freelance work, draw to order, and I’ve started to succeed, but they still pester me and tell me that I need to find a “normal job.” I also dream of being a wife, mother and homemaker like you. I really enjoyed your videos. Any advice for single mothers wanting to embark on this journey of being a homemaker? I have 4 sons and work from home and would eventually like to homeschool my sons as well. Most videos I see of this nature are with a full family (mom and dad) and land. Whereas it’s just me in a condo :) but I want to believe I can still start the journey until the Lord provides a husband and a home someday 💕

I genuinely respect your work, your family and your lifestyle. It's obvious that's not easy and it has nothing to do with being lazy. Any resonable person must know that. I am feminist. I wish man and woman around the world have equal choices and posssiblities- for their healt, education, life standard. In many places girls simply have no choices- they are sold to marry men 30 years older than them and bear a child every year since 13 years old, whether they want it or not. Or they are killed for breaking some "honour" rules, which were made to benefit men. They are not educated, they can not earn money, teheir families are poor and can not feed them, so they are sold. This is hearbreaking to me. So, feminism is not about belittling what you do. It's about giving women choices. Because not every woman can and want to be a homemaker. There are are great homemakers, great female doctors, ingeneers and lawyers in this world and they are all very needed. And sometimes a homemaker should have a possiblility to quickly become a salary woman, for example if she has an abusive husband. I see you feel great what you do and it's your choice, you could make it. That's great:). We, women should always respect each other and respect our different choices, and we need to build the world where there is always a choice for us.

Thank you for your comment. You do not have to be a feminist to believe that the oppression you spoke of is wrong. As a woman who believes in Biblical patriarchy, I vehemently hate oppression and mistreatment of women like you just spoke of, and so do all Godly men because Godly men protect and cherish women; they don’t abuse, use, and mistreat them. The Greek word used throughout the passage up until this particular set of verses dealing with the hair for “cover” and “covering” is: κατακαλύπτωkatakalýptō, kat-ak-al-oop'-to; to cover wholly, i.e. veil:-cover, hide. The Greek word for “covering” used in verse 15 referring to the hair is a different word entirely: περιβόλαιον peribólaion,per-ib-ol'-ah-yon; something thrown around one, i.e. a mantle, veil:-covering, vesture. This was not by accident, the use of two different words should help bring clarity that two different coverings are being spoken of. One is a natural covering, the woman’s long hair, another is a fabric covering which can be worn at certain times: such as praying and prophesying, and not worn at others. This is derived from the context as well. So let’s dig into the context together.

To help demonstrate that the interpretation of “the long hair is the covering” will not fit with the larger context of the passage, I am going to do some word replacement in verse 6 because that is where a major problem occurs. I have chosen to use NASB here because it has the most literal word for word translation of the Greek into English. “For if a woman does not (have long hair) let her also have her hair cut off; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, let her (have long hair).” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭NASB As you can see it would make no sense to say if a woman does not have long hair then let her hair be cut short. It would already be short.

It is also clear by this section that the covering is something which can be put on or off. “Every man who has something on his head *while praying or prophesying* disgraces his head. But every woman who has her head uncovered *while praying or prophesying* disgraces her head, for she is one and the same as the woman whose head is shaved.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11:4-5‬ ‭NASB This time frame which is given “while praying or prophesying” shows us that it is not a permanent thing such as hair on a head; it can be added or removed. We are quite accustomed to men being asked to remove their hats when praying in our western culture, this concept has come directly from this passage, though sadly the converse for the woman has not been retained. That moves us to the next portion of this post and that is how the Church historically has interpreted these passages.
