Some times the mind creates a barrier to help you with the trauma and when you are a baby and you have challenges that at 3 you have only the capability to learn and if those who are teaching you are twisted and sick then your mind creates loads of walls throughout your childhood which you one day have to pull down and confront the horrors that have for 3 decades protected you life from that point on is the hardest time a person could imagine they say that people are survivors but I have never felt like a survivor I feel like I have had enough most days and the days I don't it's because of my sons but I am always going to feel like this it's a good thing that you are doing your a top guy

Hi has anyone ever worked with mood cards 2? Would you recommend them more for secondary school? Limited budget and trying to choose carefully thankyou

I think as long as the space is right they can be useful, it really depends on the stage of the child, we have used them with primary school aged children with success 👍🌈

Just watched your response to that program - I only just watched it. My son was diagnosed 4 years ago with autism. Over the last 2 years his anxieties and sensory issues have become so extreme. He doesn't go to school and rarely leaves the house. Camhs feel the only option is to admit him to a unit. He absolutely doesn't need that, especially after watching thst program - he has a 'said so' voice in his head but he's not self harming, he doesn't want to kill anyone. He's just a very anxious boy who is so scared of losing anymore in his life. There are therapies he can have at home and that's what I'm fighting for.

I’m so sorry that you’ve both had to go through this...it’s heartbreaking. How is your son now? It’s a story we hear so often and the support needed is so hard to get. Sending you love ❤️

I’m 12 and I’ve suffered from bullying and I also self harm but I’ve also tried to commit suicide a couple of times and I’m always suicidal I saw the documentary and it’s so true I had been on the waiting list for the last 2 years until a few months ago when I started getting counselling and as a kid I’ve realised how many other kids have suffered at my school nearly every girl and boy in my year have either had tried to self harm or kill themselves and everything you’ve said is so true you’re a really good KZbinr ❤️

I second you on that I have ASD and anxiety / depression as a 34 year old guy who has suffered bullying throughout my life and recently was in a dark place self harm / thoughts of not wanting to be here. Now with the right support of counselling and cbt i'm a bit more stable

1903chrisholden I’m so sorry that you’ve struggled with your health and that you live in a world that doesn’t support neuro diversity. You must of worked really hard to get to the place you are now - thank you for the comment 🌈
