My ideal Necomunda-themed game would play more like a non-buggy version of Frozen Synapse 2: (a) Both players give simultaneous order to their gangers, which resolve simultaneously (b) meta-game where you divide your gang into groups and send them across a map to defend/attack certain locations I always kinda liked the idea of a map-based tabletop campaign of Necromunda, but it wasn't realistic to do in-person, but FS2 is the closest to what I was imagining.

Kenshi is the best game i have ever played. You become so immersed and so connected with your characters, you FEEL the game. That fight or flight instinct gets turned on visceral, heart pounding, yelling at the screen... Pure masterpiece Thank baby jesus for Chris Hunt. I love you

Is it wrong to use assets? Because I have been planning to use assets to save time.
@MitchellGodsend
@MitchellGodsend 2 ай бұрын
TLDR: No. Using assets has a stigma behind it because of all of the "asset-flip cash grabs," on Steam. They outnumber 'actual' games by a comical margin. There are many KZbin videos actually showing these scams/games in massive compiled lists and there are several notorious asset-flip scammers that have taken very public legal action against KZbinrs for pointing them out. That doesn't make using assets bad, that makes those people bad. But when you tend to only find those kinds of people when you come across their asset-flip games, it makes people not only avoid store-bought-asset games altogether, but also to lump them altogether under the banner of 'cash grab,' as I did in the video. Funny enough I actually kind of answer that question in the title, implying that even if it is a cash-grab (aka, asset flip), it's still a fun game.
@CookieeMonstarr666

@MitchellGodsend Undetstood. Although my reasoning to use assets is just to save time. I actually don't know how to do 3D modelling and rendering. While I don't have much time for that, I have a passion for storytelling, and i wanted to share with the world through games. Assets would do the job. Also, I'm not sure if it works, but i love to do weird honest marketing. I actually already planned to write in my game description something like "Hey, we use assets in here because we don't know how to do 3D modelling shits. But the game is finished, and the storyline and gameplay are the things we made ourselves. Enjoy!" idk if that would work, but previously, my debut visual novel i wrote something like no character image, and im against streaming in front of large audience because the VN is meant to be played immersively and it sells. Not much, but it sells :3

We will see if it’s less of a letdown. D4 not bothering with until at least tge levfl scaling is removed if ever

HI HELLO D3 DEFENDER AND ADORER HERE: uh. in the spirit of “it’s 3 am and i am half asleep”, i won’t write an entire college level essay on this, but hear me out: look into the worldbuilding and story of d3. Not saying make a video on it, moreso just. Look into it yourself because there is a surprising amount there. I played d3 on release year when I was fairly young, so I don’t think I fully appreciated (or supposedly, fully hated) the combat mechanics, because my main focus for the game was the story, the world, and just how immersive it all was. As I said, I’m not saying “oh yeah you did a grave sin rewrite or remake the video” and more… Play D3 like a visual novel game with combat elements. I know it’s not how it was advertised or intended to be played, but oh man does it make an awesome difference.

haven't played D1 and never got past the desert in D2, but even so, this one still found D3 to be...almost disappointingly easy. it starts fine, but you rapidly start outpacing enemy difficulty to the point that this one needed to increase the difficulty just to keep enjoying it with a modicum of difficulty, and it was STILL oneshotting almost everything with the sorceress beam. On it's first playthrough at that! This one even remembers its second playthrough, a necromancer, didn't die once until the final boss of Reaper of Souls. Granted, it was playing on what's probably still the newest patch, and on the Switch version at that, if that effects anything, but still! Might play a bit while waiting for PSO2's maintenance to end, thanks to your vid. We do enjoy the game, explicitly as 'turn brain off', quasi-mobile type of game Really should pick up the D2 remaster some time. Or sail the seven seas for a new copy of the original; bought the battle chest back in the day, but lost the disks.
