I’ve burned through two rallZ sets on my last 3 BDRs and am 100% sold on them. Even when I got into some gnarly greasy mud that was about 6” deep for roughly 1/2 mile on section 1 of the ORBDR this fall, they had a slight advantage over the second tire I’d choose (the Motoz adventure(?) tire). I’ll take faster wear over better tire life when I need it without a doubt. As far as the noise while dealing with pounding the pavement to and from said BDRs? Meh, the tinnitus from my career along with wind noise drowns that out nicely.

@@CorneVisagie-x4u the AX41 is my preferred pairing. The GPS front is a good dry gravel road / hardpack tire. Any more aggressive terrain than that, I opt for the Dual Venture, AX41 or XT+ front tires.

Hello Kyle, Saw the video with your friend on the T7. He recommended riding at 28 psi (I'm thinking more 30 psi). Do you think that would have addressed any shortcomings due to the stiffness of the tire (hitting the turtles, bumps, rock on the trails). Also, your friend stated he never aired up. Just left them at 28 psi. Do you think that's a good idea....any recommendation regarding the air pressure. Asking because I want to put them on my 890R (currently Motoz DV front / Adventure rear...they are so loud). Cheers
@manybikes5 күн бұрын
@@glx5165 well, 28 and 30 are pretty much the same. I air up when riding loaded... he never rides with any luggage. I run 30 most of the time.

Do you know why we aren't going to get the enduro trail rally's? Looks like I'm only going to get 1500 miles from my motoz s/t rear tire. I don't want to go back to the rallz after having this tire, need to find a tire to split the difference.

@manybikes hype, maybe this is the combo to have s/t front, enduro trail rally rear. I'll definitely keep you in the loop if your not testing similar. The s/t front has had a seller longevity. It still has over 8mm of tread left after 2.5k miles. I'll give you an email Tuesday when my cards flip for the mitas rear!
@houjous51314 күн бұрын
@manybikes I'll tell you what though I did a 80mph > 0mph because of a flat on the highway with the s/t rear. The bike stayed up the entire way too the shoulder. I won't have a rear tire for a bit but if that tread got 500-750 more miles to it it'd probably be the best tire on the market.

Hi Kyle. Thank you for review. You recommend to pair TKC 70 Rocks at the rear with Trailmax Mission on the front. I run Trailmax Mission (both front and rear) on my Africa Twin and I do not like them, especially front - no feedback hard tire, which does not grip when leaned in twisties. What other front would you recommend to pair with TKC 70 rocks for 75% on-road, 25% gravel/hard-packed dirt roads? Or should I consider something else all together?
@manybikes4 күн бұрын
I'd recommend the AX41 for more aggressive or the Dunlop TrailMax RAID for lighter smoother work.
