Hi .I would to ask my batteries charges only up to 3 bar so I would love to know must I do settings on the inverter?

This company asks for tips when you check out. It's optional, but close to a scam imo. Won't be buying from them.

I'm wondering how good the Kepworth lifepo4 batteries are? Would you mind doing a review?

Thanks for this video, I have one of these batteries for my RV. If you have any spare time, I'd really like to see you do a cell balancing video on it and a rerun the capacity test.

Hey Will, Are the cells in this battery actually 280AH? I dont think you showed what cells it has like you did in the Wattcycle. Also have you tried out any of the Renogy core series? (the non bluetooth etc ones) I know they are not really 'budget' ones but here in Australia there are much less options and often the price between the cheaper ones and something more known like the Renogy is much smaller.

Amazon is selling a Lisuateli 12 volt 100 AH lithium iron phosphate battery for $129. The customer reviews are mostly positive. If possible, I'd like to see your analysis of this low price lithium battery.

I would go with Ecoworthy. Having a better heatsink on the BMS should greatly increase the batteries longevity.

I’m glad I watched this. I was planning on gettin some of the eco-worthy batteries when I start my solar setup but if I can’t trust the batteries to shut down when they should, I don’t want them. Need to watch more videos to find a good 24V battery to get when I’m ready.

Love the video. I couldn't agree more with most of what you said. I drive a 2500 truck, It's big and impractical in a lot of ways. But I need it for work and I tow several different trailers. My wife drives a model 3. We drive the model 3 anytime we don't need the truck. I have a gas powered Side by side we take trail riding and we have an electric golf cart I use around my property. People are so polarized it's crazy. I don't understand why everything has to have sides. Ford vs chevy, EV vs ICE. Not everything is right or wrong. Just get what works best for your needs. For towing and hauling, especially longer distances my 2500 truck best fits my needs. For just hauling us around especially locally our Model 3 is fantastic. I put a level 2 charger in the garage and we rarely use public chargers. Only on long distance trips. To many people are ruled by their emotions. It's crazy.

Hi, after watching the videos I wanted to build my first power bank I purchased a inverter 12v 2000w 110v not knowing not knowing that there was a difference 120v can I still use my 110v inverter
@squirrel66877 сағат бұрын
Purchase a separate power supply that will regulate the voltage. Everyone does't require 12 but some other voltage or combination of voltages. It is best to have a choice. Stringing supplies reduces efficiency.

I'd take the Wattcycle for the cells and the size. I wouldn't push the current hard enough to max either of them out.
@kuhrd7 сағат бұрын
While it is nice that some batteries come with a BMS that will disconnect for overcurrent, one should never ever rely on a solid state device as the only safety in the system, and a fuse is a necessity in any battery system. It would be interesting to see how hot one of those batteries actually gets when the BMS doesn't trip considering at 850 amps the cells would be pretty much depleted in less than 25 minutes.
@Gary-wh7ce7 сағат бұрын
Personally, the watt cycle should be recalled. Now I am convinced that more than ever having a terminal fuse on each battery is cheap insurance OR maybe just start building the DIY Kits so that I know what is in my home. Thanks!

i like tesla's method, watch conductor temps and throttle amps up/down accordingly, limiting power by standard wire gauges, timers, etc. is very wasteful

Has the cost of cells and components kept up with the cost of these budget batteries? I was originally planning on a DIY solution but the cost of these pre packaged solutions kept dropping and made the DIY not make sense financially. I am tempted to do the DIY server rack battery but even those are still outside my budget when you can get 16 of the 100AH Watt Cycle batteries and put them in 4s4p for about the same price and actually have a higher Amp rating and redundancy built in.

@willProwse - I think the reason they allow such a large surge is to allow these batteries, that are in the format of a car battery, to be used to start cars, engines, etc.

Being an IT guy who loves riding a battery powered bike bMTB, there is something I have noted about advertized capacities. Virtually nothing out of China coems close to what is advertized. Memory sticks and battery capacity are leading items, followed by drive read/write speeds and WiFi range. The same items coming out of Taiwan or Korea seem to be a lot closer to advertized data.
