This video is indeed spot on with the analysis. I was a photographer back in the day of film and Kodachrome. I tried the light box. I didn’t like it. Too much time with getting the right shot and angles. I tried the iphone. I didn’t like it. It did not feel right as a camera to me. Today I use a bridge camera. The Panasonic FZ80D. The zoom and macro features are amazing and allow me to do what needs to be done without editing. Before the Panasonic I also used a bridge camera. I have a high standing pub table with a top that rotates. Huge time saver and back saver. My overhead light is a 4 foot daylight led work light. I also have a ring light. I list from the desk top. It too is faster and at this volume it is easier to use. Remember, I’m old. If I was just going to sell a few items per week then I would stick with the iphone. But when you list 20 items a day the camera makes much more sense as a time saving tool. You have to actually do it to believe it. Great video!

Hey does it shoot video and at 4K?

Hello, I recently just purchased a canon powershot A80 from the thrift store and it is not turning on. There is no corrosion inside the battery compartment and I tried lifting the prongs at the bottom of the battery compartment but that didnt seem to work either. The camera seems to be in good condition except for the lid to the battery compartment seems to be a little chipped where it hooks on to keep the lid closed. Could this be the issue of why its not turning on? Or do you know of any thing else I could try to get it to come on?

I have a Pentax K-50 with the same problem. Would you know who can fix my camera??

I’ve used this with my beloved sigma lenses on my R5. And a 8h wedding shoot it didn’t miss one shot so. Only downside is the extra size. But totally worth it.

I have the AZ405, which records up to 1080p video, and it looks pretty good. The pictures it takes are awesome. For a camera that I just bought for home videos, it's really good. The fact that it's powered by AAs instead of a proprietary rechargeable battery could mean it could last years if properly taken care of (my grandma has a red Nikon Coolpix L22 that she literally took more than 10,000 pictures on. It had my entire childhood on it.)

Instead of the 75-300mm lens without IS I would get a 55-250mm lens with IS.

Iv shot and own most of the A series cameras ae1 and ae1 program are cool and easy to use tonz and tonz and even more tonz of affordable great lenses for them. the program was super popular even today it's super popular but for around the same price I'd put my money on the A-1 all day above the other two. Its a tad newer but the ae1 only has one mode the program has 2 and the A1 has 4 Shutter Priorty Aperture Priority Program and Manual modes with a cleaner user interface a cool looking digital metering system in the lens witch gives you the apruture and shutter speed in digital form. You can turn the meter system off and on with a switch so you can shoot the camera in Manual mode without the light meter showing in the viewfinder. Its got way more bang for your buck. And even looks better with a solid black color the other two and the rest of the A series comes in silver mainly but have fully black counterparts but the a1 is black only its a very under rated camera and I'll go to my death bed defending the A1 and I won't stop till every last person who shoots an ae1 or likes it knows the A1 is better lol.

I meet slow and miss AF issue with my old Canon 100 mm macro(non IS) lens when using Canon R7 and Canon original Mount Adapter.

I like this format. Perhaps you should do it as a monthly feature. You should also include "Camera of the Month!" You can pick the criteria for that, or let your viewers vote on it as selected from "Top 10 Cameras..."

Since I can only use one hand, I find it really frustrating using a touch screen. That is why I never use my smart phone to take pictures. I use a Canon which does not have a touch screen and in my opinion the photos are superior then those taken with a smart phone.

You get such great finds in your camera adventures, have you had a chance to shoot the Olympus C-2100? I was given one as a gift unfortunately it's stopped powering up but it takes such beautifully warm pictures I might even have it repaired.

Great little camera, I bought mine many years ago now for only $ 88 cdn from Walmart, I'm surprised one on the problems not mentioned is the battery door breaking, a small plastic tab on the camera body breaks off preventing the door from fully closing, I'm hoping to find a good used A1400 as a back up. it's a shame the cell phone industry completely destroyed the entry level digital camera market and so today a comparable camera will cost over $ 400.
