The way they overuse the sounds of babies crying literally drives me insane more than the actual horror does. The horror genre is so oversaturated with paranormal stuff, it’s annoying. I can’t take the babies and the white lady (or white people) screaming all day. I love old horror, especially 80s slashers. You should watch *Pearl* and *X* movies. ❤ At least in old horror, we got to the point-they screamed for a moment, and for a cause, then moved on to the next. That’s why I prefer it.

So the reason Bella was screaming is because she was experiencing ptsd from the venom that James infected her with when he bit her last movie. I think because Edward was with her, she felt safe and didn't have nightmares about it, but since Edward left and she's so obsessed with him and codependent, when she thinks of him, she remembers everything that she endures because of him. Thus the nightmares and screaming. Poor Charlie, because he's probably wondering wtf is going on with his daughter.

i’ve been watching these movies since i was little since my mom’s a huge fan, and i just made the connection of romeo and juliet to this one!! romeo and juliet are “star crossed” lovers (ill fated but meant to be), and edward and bella are literally bound by fate to be together. they talk about this in the books but when vampires meet their “mate” they are literally bonded together and its this painful and scary thing if theyre separated. like you can NEVER move on from the pain. its why victoria was hunting bella so hard, because james was her mate. bella and edward had that kind of love as well. (along with the rest of the carlisles and their mates). back to romeo and juliet- they BOTH died in the end, because one thought the other was dead. in twilight, bella got to edward in time. funny how i never realized it! (funny thing is though, bella says that in a normal world she would’ve married jacob in the third book)

Among the best things I love about Boyz n The Hood is Doughboy for his character and story development and Ice Cube’s performance in the role. Cube at the time was among the emerging hip-hopers in the 90s with his debut solo album AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted after leaving NWA. The guy may not have had attended drama class in school, never did a film, never did a TV show or a stage show but it was the encouragement from John Singleton due to their friendship that convinced Cube to get the part of Doughboy. John Singleton met Ice Cube when he was a member of backstage crew at the Arsenio Hall Show and even though Cube turned down the offer a couple times, I’m beyond glad he accepted the offer. For an inexperienced actor in a cinematic debut, Ice Cube did an awesome job playing Doughboy. He played the role as if he (Cube himself) never had a dad, is the subject of ridicule and verbal abuse by his mum who favours a brother of his and ends up as as a Rollin 60s Crip. He did it so damn convincingly that he should’ve got an Oscar, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe - all three for “Best Supporting Actor” and MTV Movie Award for “Best Breakthrough Performance”. This was long before Cube did the Friday films (film series he also wrote/produced), Are We There Yet?, xXx 2 and 3, Fist Fight, Ride Along, 21/22 Jump Street, Ghost of Mars, the Barbershop films, Rampart, Tresspass etc If the Marc Webb-directed and Andrew Garfield-starred Amazing Spider-Man films were to conclude with a 3rd film (a 4 hour 3rd film to end the story) and if Ice Cube appeared in it - he would’ve been J Jonah Jameson (Daily Bugle newspaper boss). Imagine Andrew Garfield and Ice Cube in the same room! Wasted/missed opportunity in my opinion.
