Steve Perry's magnificent voice is an instrument lent to him by the angels in heaven. He's the best to ever do it. Taking Steve Perry out of Journey, and replacing him with another singer is like taking Mick Jagger out of the Rolling Stones, plugging in some other guy, and still calling the band the Rolling Stones. It's an utter embarrassment.

Steve in fact never left Journey. He gets publishing royalties and they pay him for the live shows with Arnel performing. He just doesn't perform with them. To collect a huge income without having to kill your voice night after night is a no-brainer.

Steve Perry #1 always. He cared about his health with a hip problem and his mom's serious health disease which was life threatening. Steve's hip surgery as he says was his own personal decision. All Neal & the band members at that time cared about was MONEY. NO JOURNEY WITHOUT STEVE PERIOD. !!! ❤❤❤😊😊😢😢

It wasn't years oh my gosh. Is 18 months and the album was already out there and there was absolutely no reason they needed to do anything else except let Steve heal. And as a result they did not perform live until 2021 anyways I know they didn't know that at the time but what the hell

Neal Schon broke up the band and moved on without Steve Perry. What a shame! The band has never been the same since Steve Perry left. He saved them when they were about to lose their contract and they do this to him? Arnel Pineda is a great singer but they want him to imitate Steve. We don't even know what Arnel sounds like singing in his own voice!

I love Steve Perry. He IS Journey. But, I think it is very odd that he would say that he never felt part of the band. That is just crazy. I think he was speaking out of hurt that they chose to move on without him. But, life goes on and waits for no man. It would have been unfair to hold people back because he did not want to have surgery.

I love Steve Perry. Saw all his concerts in NJ. I also had a chance to meet him at the Philadelphia Spectrum in the 80's when the concert had Sammy Hagar The Tubes, John Mellencamp and alot of many bands. I went with a friend back then and rode on his harleys. Thinking we had high seats. He walked me to the front stage and listened to all the bands. Best concert I went too and then Journey gorgeous Steve. Afterwards I got a picture of band and then me and Steve 😂 Very upset cannot find them. Steve if you see this I would love to see you again. You are a Rock Star and have every CD's your group put out It's not the same without you. Saw them once with Steve Augeri and then once with Arnel. They were good but have not seen them since. One thing I have to say and I am having a senior moment turned 60 march 30th. I also love your drummer. He does a song and alot of other fans says he sings just like you. I hope one day I get to see you and get that picture I lost. You rock! One more thing do not be mad but I do like Neal Shon may be misspelled but he is a great musician also. You can be a leader and not feel as though you're a part of something. It's easy; especially for an introvert as Steve Perry is. It's like the staff going out for drinks and the manager isn't invited. You can still be the one who does the controlling and has the final say, but still the black sheep. I think that's what SP meant when he said that.

Steve Perry is Journey. He is the heart & soul of the band. Without his incredible vocals and musical talent Journey would be nothing. Steve’s strength and courage to walk away when he did is admirable. Who does that? A man of Integrity who is true to himself that’s who. The band should have been kind and compassionate to Steve’s needs first and foremost over money. Greed and jealousy is an ugly thing to see In any situation. God will truly bless you Steve for your heart of Gold which touches all of the hearts of your fans.

He lost his mom, his girlfriend and was burnout....Steve Perry put Journey on the map ,and the band couldnt give him some time to heal and rest???.....really selfish people.. .Steve never talked badly about them . He is such a kind, lovely person . We ❤ Steve.
