As someone who drives an EV for work, I would highly recommend having one of the gauges being 'charge level' as while the range calculations are handy for casual use, they are an unreliable metric when you are going on journeys with enough distance where you come across different driving environments.

Interesting to see if these conversions will ever be viable for other broadly available chassis. A Aygo/C1/107 conversion would make for a great electric city car, with many modern features like surviving hitting a pigeon.

I wasn't surprised that someone converted the Skyline to EV - it was a matter of time as older Honda Accord and Civic got converted to electric, sometimes it was more for fun, ie. how fast can you outrun somebody at the drag racing. Hell, even Kei cars which is outright crazy, even there's a few electrified Kei cars on KZbin, of a handful few with crazy launching performance.

Looks like it needs an LSD to sort out some of his traction issues. 'More powerfull than any RB26, quadruple the power'? Not even in the UK, let alone Australia.

Eh, he blew the motor so it's a whatever on swap. I think about swapping a electric setup in a nissan pickup and why I follow. But there are always trade offs and those trade offs matter more. This guy has how many skylines? so he did it more for show than say a daily driver so....

There should be an 11th commandment "Thou shall not electrify a skyline"

I'd have that in a Stagea (basically a Skyline Estate) with an R34 front end conversion and sprayed metallic blue.
