In this weeks video I prepare my turbo, engine swapped 1988 Toyota pickup to take it 7 hours to Denver Colorado so @ThatDudeinBlue can drive and review it! It was an awesome adventure and felt so good to clean up the turbo truck, and fix a ton of small issues that needed addressed. On to the next adventure with this amazing truck!

This so reminds me of my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport sleeper. Just looks simple and straight on the outside but not a looker paint wise, but under the hood is a frankenstein monster. :) Ignition system alone has three different manufacturers combined and works. Also has a really nicely set up 600 cfm Carter/Webber AFB Competition Series 4 barrel carb. Also has sensors for data logging for tuning purposes. All the money is in the engine, suspension, posi rear end, and clutch.

Where is your vacuum source for wastegate? Try putting the top should be vented and bottom or side should be boost only source like straight from turbo compressor housing or anywhere before the throttle body. Also get spartan locker, one wheel peel is pathetic.

My boost reference is straight from the compressor housing. I also need a locker but I’m broke as of now so it’ll have to wait or I’ll need to weld it

You should delete rear bumper. And did you consider a review with Zack From the Shooting Cars channel?

I haven’t, I should reach out to him and check that out, I had been watching TDIB for years and saw he would be semi-local to me. I might delete the rear bumper, but honestly like the work truck look and sleeper aspect
