I was about to pull the trigger on a Haute controller. I'm gonna watch this first and see if I should get it instead.

haute seems way more worth it, even if you dont use the extra buttons the option of having them there is extremely nice

Depends on your budget, the haute is just a good bag for buck, if it's your first one, I'd go for the haute.

Haute42/COSMOX R16 has the same layout plus two extra buttons. Honestly don’t know if he mentions it in the video as i replied before I watched it. At first glance I think I personally prefer the Haute because it’s bigger and fits better in your lap and the left pinky button it placed lower which seems more natural to use/reach

These controllers look like a confusing jumbled mess. All you need aside from the standard 6 attack buttons is right thumb for parry/DR and right pinky for DI. You don't need 35 buttons on the face of the controller.

So I was at CEO, and stopped by one of the booths, and the vendor put me on to mapping KK to a button for Ed to map his command dash So it just depends honestly. People will find uses for extra buttons
