I'll say it. This game was boring as hell to me. Like legit borrrring. It's punishing for no reason too. Just my opinion though. I absolutely hated this game. I can deal with clunky Monster Hunter is one of my favorite series and very clunky. but this game? nope. not for me.

At least you chose an interesting faction for this vid to back for final battle. Most people default w ncr and I never understand why. The game isn't called eastward ncr manifest destiny... The best ending has the player set up with his friends in well to do living and no companions lost. The other 3 factions just have more of their worst. The only issue I have w the faction you chose is that you are still forced to burn some bridges with other (lesser than the big 4) factions that may be idolizing you. And they may help you with the issue left at that anding with the possibility of a future coup against the player.

i still dont like the Guiding lands. and part of the reason is that you are forced to grind there to augment. even now when returning to World to do 69 hunts on each weapon i didnt went there because a hunt in the stats is basically counted as the amount of times you go out from the towns to hunt a or multiple monster so if i where to grind there in order for me to keep track i would have needed to return after every kill.

This game is going to be less monsterhunter and more cash grab...its going to suck but people will line up to support this dog water and it will make money and it will open the door for more ips to shamelessly jump on the van wagon. Please shut this down on release, don't play it let it burn. MH now is a thing and that's already payed to win so this will Amp that shit up.

Virgil is said to be located in the most irradiated part of the glowing sea. You find one of the craters where the bomb fell. Thats where the children of atom are. You aren't sent to Virgil, you aren't sent to the children. You are just sent to ground zero to start your search. If Mother Isolde dies before you ask about Virgil you dont get an updated quest marker. You are stuck looking on your own with the marker left in the crater. Its actually kind of cool in a subtle full circle way. You see that bomb explode at the start and near the end game you must visit ground zero.

Nukaworld worked for me, but because I never do the "my one character did every quest on one playthrough" thing people do in bethesda games. For my first Nukaworld playthrough I made a new character with the intent on being a raider from the getgo. Once I beat that and had my fun with it I did eventually load up my paragon character and go on the biggest biggest fight in the game.

Nick was just fucking with you using Kellogs voice. You even ask in the video "wait, are you playing a joke on me" "I guess thats for you to wonder and for ME and Kelloggs memories to know for sure." Its just a joke, IDK why people get caught up on that. Even the Wiki acts like there is more to this.
@artcrime29992 күн бұрын
You can skip right to rescuing Nick, and once he calls for Dogmeat you can run right to the fort and fight Kellog. The elevator down to him doesn't spawn until the Dogmeat part of the quest updates.

Bleed works well because the bleed effect stacks with itself and there is nothing immune to it. Fire should have worked the same way but instead is heavily nerfed. Not only is fire damage lower but it also has resistances to get through. It also only stacks 3 times IIRC. That OMOD (as they are called in the console) and a few others are very strong. The furious OMOD works almost the same way, doing more damage per attack that stacks until the target is dead. 2,4,8,16,32,64,128 you get the idea how quickly that can stack. The explosive OMOD just makes your shots explode, being really strong with explosive perks but potentially self deadly. All three of these are awesome on fully auto weapons on non vats builds. I like the freezing, lucky and relentless for Vats based Pistol builds.

The game scales difficulty the further you are from Sanctuary. You should notice the further east you go the less actual friendly shit you see. Oberland Station is one of the few places left settlement wise that isnt taken over by some hostile.
@artcrime29992 күн бұрын
The minutemen give you the flare gun, which works like the synth relays but slower, or like a vertibird flare for support. The artillery they get is actually really really strong if you bother to do the settlements. Each one within I think 3 squares on the map can add their own firepower to the bombardment. Having many set up in and around the heart of downtown Boston is crazy fun. Just rain death on super mutants and raiders while you snipe from above.

You dont have to rescue your settlements when they are raided. If you have enough defenses your base usually wins on its own. Even if it loses all that happens is a few things get damaged. Repair a generator or crop next time you visit.
@artcrime29992 күн бұрын
Settlements are a choice. You only have to build the few things for the main quest. You can take the local leader perks and have the settlements linked to each other for trade lines so they all share food water and scrap. You can slowly take over the wasteland without being violent at all. Nearly every settlement has the material needed to make the generator and radio you need to summon your first settler, from there you can send him as a trade line. The robotics dlc takes this to a whole new level with custom deathbots as your provisioners. All the common junk you need for armor or weapons can be bought as shipments from merchants. Trashcan Carla herself sells most of them and she comes to Sanctuary often. Add the short bunker hill quest to set up trader posts and you have even more people visiting you with stuff to sell. I spent a long ass time in fallout 4 BECAUSE of the settlement system. The base looting and shooting is only so fun. Setting up the castle to automatically power its traps and turrets and lock all doors when it is attacked via alarms, settler guards, and logic gates is way cooler to me. I have a video on my channel where I spent legit 5 months or so making a crazy intracate vault base with a shit ton of silly stuff to explore and a roller coaster conveyor that rides through it

I disagree with the deathclaw rant. If you look you lost a leg part mid fight, have two arms about to blow, and only have half the fusion core left. Thats at the default difficulty too. A reasonable player would think "wow this power armor is the only thing that kept me alive there and its beat to shit and nearly useless when this core runs dry. I had better plan to repair and upkeep this thing in case I run into any other insurmountable challenge." Also try that fight 2 difficulties higher. You will die. You have to make use of nearly every consumable you have at that point, grenades and mines, and the exploding cars out on the street to survive.
@SuperRADLemon2 күн бұрын
So the thing is (I don't know if this is still true for F4), but deathclaws cut through all DR or whatever so the power armor shouldn't have even helped. If it did, cool, but that fight is still insanely doable without it.

I dig Rise when I want a more chill, power fantasy experience. It's way easier to pop in for a couple hunts when you're busy than World. I also dig the aesthetic, all of it.

I disagree. Fallout 4 is not more "hopeful" in my opinion. The reason for this - in the original Interplay titles people *rebuild*, settlements grow - hell, Fallout 2 has the return of regional governments and actual currency. Bethesda's titles are trapped in a stasis field where even though chronologically they're supposed to be better than 100 years after the fact - major population centers are still just rubble strewn ruins. I'd argue Bethesda actually has *nothing* to say about the themes and are just enamored with the aesthetic. It is soulless commercial drivel.

I don't think sunbreak is that easy. Base rise is too easy, but sunbreak is challenging enough I would say. I've struggled a lot on a lot of monsters, I'm not super good, but I have played a lot of monster hunter games and is fair to say that monsters do hit hard on sunbreak. I think the easy part of Rise in general is the overload of quality of life, infinite restocks, too many resources for free. I wish the game hold less your hand in the beginning and you would scale the quality of life as the difficult grows. But just be less resourceful by the end. Wire bugs are cool but they are far too powerful, they should either be less useful with no cooldown or just as is but even slower to recharge, something that you would use only on stun and flinches.

FO3 was okay but I found myself wishing I could influence the world, build in it. Especially Big Town; it gave a little taste of world building. NV was a tedious slog. Endless words and characters and factions that just didn't seem to make much sense. I never even played the DLCs because I was so happy to be done with the main story. FO4 was AMAZING (once you figured out all the bugs but that is no different than the others). Cool characters, simple but deep factions (could have done more with the raiders but there's always FO5), great weapons, great stories. I love it.

Decided to rewatch this video again, the reception towards Alma in the Monster Hunter Wilds beta reminded me of some of the points in this video. I've noticed that people will praise Alma for the same traits and actions that they previously criticized the Handler for. They like that Alma comes out with them in the field and follows close on her seikret, as if that doesn't also put her in danger like when the Handler would come into the field with us in the previous game. They like when Alma talks to them, gives combat/gameplay advice, or informs them of some items she collected, but many complaints against World's Handler is that she talks too much. Hell, the hunter's palico can even ride on her seikret instead of the hunter's, and no one bats an eye despite them seething over the Handler hugging the hunter's palico first. They are very similar characters, and they serve the same role in the story, but the truth is that people have a lot more patience for Alma because they find her attractive, and are quick to lash out at World's Handler because they don't think she's attractive. I've also seen the same thing happen with Rise's Hinoa, she has the same passion for food as the Handler but no one bats an aye. I've also started to see some Handler revisionism from the Gamer (tm) crowd, with them comparing World's Handler to Olivia, one of Wilds' NPC Hunters. I think it's hilarious seeing them point at the Handler as if they always liked her, even though those same types of people were putting her on the other side of the comparison with characters like Guildmarm or Moga Sweetheart. I also find it interesting that this specific post didn't use the usual screenshots you see of the Handler, the ones chosen because of their unflattering angle, pose or lighting. I think the one that comes to mind first is the one where she's cooking in the camp and her face is underlit by the oven. It's almost as if the Handler actually is attractive, and those screenshots were specifically cherrypicked to justify someone's disdain towards the character. I actually like the Handler. Not to an exceptional degree, I think she's fine, I just also think the visceral hatred towards her is weird and it makes me uncomfortable. She's not ugly, she just looks like an actual human person instead of an anime waifu. She's not fat, she just enjoys food. She's not annoying, just a little eccentric and cringe. She's not reckless, she's only in danger a couple of times and only one of those examples is actually her fault. She's not useless, the game just doesn't do a very good job of communicating her role to the player, something that Wilds has already improved on. She's not stealing credit for the work you did, she's rightfully celebrating with her partner and friend because you are a team. I know 99% of Monster Hunter players skip dialogue and don't read quest descriptions, I'm not gonna take your opinion on a character seriously if you didn't pay fucking attention to the story. I'm also calling it now that Nata is going to be a character that has a similar amount of complaints towards them as the Handler, especially after that part of the story trailer where he asks "You're a hunter, aren't you" and "Give me your weapon, so I can kill it".
