@Flying lycan , can I commend you for your musical taste . This must be Paddy's greatest ever song , if I had it on loop since mid 1980,s I don't think I would ever get sick of it neither . I would give my left nut to see Prefab in concert sing Steve McQ +Langley Park So so many memories as a kid to those albums 👍👏

I must admit, I'm 26 and this is the first time I've heard a song that has moved me to tears in at least 5 years. I'm absolutely stunned by Prefab Sprout's music after only being introduced to them about a month ago. This song in particular is beautiful. Shamefully I would have only known them previously from the King of Rock 'n' Roll!

Probably one of my favourite Prefab Sprout song ever (and there are many fantastic tracks !! ) and possibly my favoutite ever song. Reminds me of Summer 1985, my mate Phil Brough picking me up for work at the pit in his VW Scirroco and having this on cassette on the way .... The depth of emotion in the vocal is unsurpassed on any other song - particularly the venom of ' my strained respect' - best song ever ? The man is a genius.
