hello, I have followed you for a year and I have a question. I love karting with Friends but last time I couldn't deliver. I race in a track where its difficult to overtake and I started P2. I made an Amazing overtake into T1 but then I couldn't find the rythm like I had done the previous times and I got overtaken. I think its a mental thing because when I feel the adrenaline and my Heart Beats fast I can push to the limit, and some times I can make this happen pushing myself with motivational sentences or great performances from my fav drivers. However now I feel a bit demotivated and I Need some encouragement. Can you give me some tips to get back on track with the right mentality and get my maided win? Thanks bro, and good luck! Bye and Forza Ferrari sempre!!!

Hello mate, don't be discouredged by just being slow in 1 race. There are a lot of drivers, some faster, some slower. My advice would be 1st work on concistency, then raw speed. A hotlap won't win you races, but doing solid laps for an entire race surely will.
@TommasoRattà4 сағат бұрын
@20ege008 thanks 🫶🫶 The issue Is that rental karting costs and I can't do It very often, , but I'll work on conciscency💪💪

Is that no marshals at this track? Should have been black flagged after the first lap

I haven't driven a go kart in probably 40 years, and there are no venues within 50 miles from where I live, but I've been downloading karts and karting tracks for Assetto Corsa, and each of your videos I watch is genuinely improving my performance!

Thanks for the guide. I was doing 50s because of the second 3rd and last corner but this helped me drop to 30

if im struggling with wheelspin, should i be leaning in?
@kartingtipsКүн бұрын
Wheel spin is probably due to feeding the gas too quickly. Make sure you're progressively applying gas {avoid getting to 100% pressure too quickly).
@thedarkaffliction8121Күн бұрын
@@kartingtips I'm a super light weight (~47kg), I had the feel last time I was out in the rain where I can neutral steer with throttle control on exits but it also feels like I'm spending way too much time controlling the wheelspin. I'm also trying to improve at my local indoor electric venue currently where it's quite slippery, I'm still struggling with wheelspin, and the karts have some sort of traction control (so throttle control isn't important). I'm hoping some of these ideas will apply

The PIT maneuver (precision immobilization technique), also known as TVI (tactical vehicle intervention), is a law enforcement pursuit tactic in which a pursuing vehicle forces another vehicle to turn sideways abruptly, causing the driver to lose control and stop. It was developed by BSR Inc. and first used by the Fairfax County Police Department in Virginia, United States, in 1988. The PIT maneuver begins when the pursuing vehicle pulls alongside the fleeing vehicle so that the portion of the pursuer's vehicle forward of the front wheels is aligned with the portion of the target vehicle behind the back wheels. The pursuer gently makes contact with the target's side, then sharply steers into the target. The pursuer must also accelerate (or its bumper will slide off the target vehicle). Forces of motion tend to swing the fleeing vehicle around in a sweeping arc until its position is reversed, with its front bumper suddenly facing the rear. At high speeds, such sudden lateral movement can cause rollover collisions.

went on a second date with this girl last week and we decided to go karting, it had rained earlier in the day so the track was wet. don’t know why I didn't expect to get soaked but we did 😂 given it was my first time karting on a wet track, it was definitely fun getting to experience the understeer and having to apply the throttle mid corner to help rotate the back end.

It's like breaking to get extra grip on the front tires or accelerating to lift the front end up. I learned this because there is a huge dip in my street and driving over it at 30mph you will scrape your bumper, but if you are going 30 mph and slam on the gas right as you go over the dip you won't because it lifts your front end, in a rwd at least.

I record my races and I share them on rumble For the style I install it on the side It looks like Prost/Senna back in 89 If you want to watch my races go see the racing seat on rumble Give me a feedback about my racing
One thing I struggle with in the wet, especially in the 2-Stroke DMAX karts, is keeping the revs up and stopping the kart from bogging down on the exit, due to the extra amount I have to slow through the corner. Some others seem to manage it though, so I feel like I'm missing something, any tips?

Unfortunately, in my country Germany, most outdoor tracks close for the winter, unlike in the UK. Seems people here are less hardcore about racing in the freezing rain and sleet.
