Depends on the F/O. Contrary to fan opinion, the front office has not shown any indication Teoscar is their top priority OR that they will overpay for him, which they shouldn't, btw.

@@BigLeche_10The F/O is thinking otherwise. There is zero indication or rumors that Teoscar is a priority for them, they're in talks with each other, or that they will overpay for him. Meanwhile, we know there's much more indication they're in on Soto to some degree and they have a meeting set up with him in the coming weeks.
@parkercrossland410Сағат бұрын
I've been seeing that a bunch of this discourse lately and I'd like to know why. Is it because he's too expensive to sign and still improve on other roster needs? Is it because you'd rather see more roster parity across baseball? If it's one of those reasons, I get it. If it's any other reason, what is the justification? Dog was a top 5 offensive player in baseball this year. If you want to bring up his lackluster defense, he was still better than Teoscar in terms of his defense this year (who he is also 6 full years younger than). If you're saying he isn't worth the money given your current roster and needs, I could agree. If you're saying that he isn't amongst the most valuable commodities in baseball, that would just be objectively incorrect.
@greatnessdelton1381Сағат бұрын
@@parkercrossland410 It's the stupidest "reason" possible, his "attitude". Which is ridiculous. Half the fanbase is convinced he's 2014-2019 Manny Machado because he played for the Padres for a little over a year and the Yankees, who we just beat in the WS. Every single team's fanbase loved him when he was there and no notable players have had anything bad to say about him. Hell, fans at Dodger Stadium literally chanted "future Dodger" at him in 2022. It's literally just Dodger fans who spend too much time in echo chambers on the internet spreading that narrative.
