Currently in Alaska! Haven’t had time to make any videos as this is the 3rd trip we’ve been on in the past 6 weeks. It’s the last trip though so should be back soon!

Just wanted to let you know. I am a long Etsy seller and new to Ebay so I been looking for smart people for tips. To watch while I am listing... You guys were great! You come up in my watch videos and when I click, your channel it never brings me to video. It glitches to another video or back to home. Had tried ebay, ebay sellers, ebay seller couple. To find you instead.... Ever video seemed to come up was a channel selling a listing app in secret. I finally seen you and looked at your name before the glitch right before this post. Just wanted to let you know something is going on with your channel.

Within the chase app and on their website there’s a way to transfer the points. Try googling how to transfer chase points from one card to another. The tutorial there will be more helpful than me trying to explain it haha!

Can I ask you 2 questions. I have heard you several times in your videos talk about "average cost of goods" and I assume that's what you use for tax purposes. 1-How many items did you originally source to come up with your average cost? 2- Do you still save all receipts from your purchases (sometimes I buy at estate sales and yard sales and get no receipts)? The average is from last years totals so probably around 8,000 items if I remember correctly give or take a thousand. I haven’t looked at the numbers in a while. Yes we keep all our receipts and digitally upload them into quickbooks under the transaction.

I mean we spend 4,000 a month on shipping labels haha. When eBay buyers buy items you get that money and you pay for the labels with that money. Doesn’t matter if it’s free ship or buyers pays for shipping. We do buyer pays shipping.

eBay doesn’t pay for labels. They do not pay for anything. The seller pay for labels with the buyers money that they received.

I was trying to figure out a system for my garage the other day. But it's way to hot out there. Then you mentioned you wouldn't recommend puttting bagged clothing in a humid climate like Dallas, Tx. Well damn. I'm just south of Ft. Worth. lol. I have to figure something else out. I definitely like this inventory system though. Thanks.

We’re in Dallas! Key is to insulate and AC control the garage if possible! It’s what we did and works great. Other option is to get an AC controlled storage unit. It made more sense in the long term though to pay for AC controlled garage instead of renting a storage unit so run those numbers!

We did it ourselves! That why I know the cost not including labor. I’d assume it’s around double that cost with labor due to the hours it takes.

Do y'all both do drafts? If so do you list the exact items you photographed? Or split them some other way? Right now my husband does all photos and I draft. (30 a day)

We both do every process. 2 stations for each process. Kendall makes the drafts she photos and I make drafts for the items I photo. That’s mostly to reduce mistakes. The person who photographs the items was hands on with it and knows more about it as they just took photos. If kendall takes photos and I make those drafts then I am more likely to make a mistake and I also just can’t go as fast because I’m not as familiar with the item.

The only reason we would do it differently is if I loved taking photos and kendall loved making drafts or the other way around. But we don’t like either of the tasks so we just split it like I said lol.

we do this and use all for hotels since we fly free since my hubs is a pilot for american. In one year we got 52 free hotel rooms including europe 4x and saved almost $15,000 in hotel costs. Just in the last month I went to italy and stayed in Milan for 4 nights for 60k points and we are staying next week in california for 4 nights for 45K points. between my hubs in me we both have CSP, world of hyatt cards, and 5 ink cards between us...just got another 100K points for the chase ink preferred. thats a ton of free travel! travel hacking and reselling go hand in hand...I started my ebay business just so i could get more ink cards! :)

we never use the travel portal and transfer to partners like Hyatt and Southwest, Virgin Air and flying blue also have some transferred to Virgin..you can get flights to europe from atlanta to london for only 20K points on virgin. Cash rate is $600, so the transfer your points go further. my kids have a program next summer in london and we are not going to risk flying standby. I feel like your value is better if you travel with transfer partners.

We will have to look into it more! Just haven’t started traveling a whole lot yet. Plan to start using the points and traveling more in 6 months from now so will for sure look into transferring out of the portal!

My hubs just got that card and we earned 100K points, now Im going to get it and attach to my ebay account. we each get a card and dont make the other an authorized user so we can get more cards and SUBs. probaly have gotten 15 cards in the last 3 years... looking to go to europe next year and you can fly dfw to london for 19k miles each way if you transfer to virgin air! you could easily get your flights for free!

We mostly sell men’s clothing. If we sold dresses here and there we would just hang them on a wall as dresses look better flowing down from gravity then stuck on a slanted board anyways. The other solution would be to just make the board a different dimension.

I honestly am unsure because it depends on which account you choose to open. Ours does if you don’t hit a certain metric for it but we blow way past the metric they want for the business checking account so it’s free for us to use.

Same, only options are bank account and credit card. Credit card has no paypal option and bank account wants to replace my current back account so did not try that avenue fully.

@xoxoxrach I found the issue. My bad. Skip the first part of the tutorial where I say to add PayPal as a payment method. Go straight to when you’re printing a label part in the tutorial. There’s an option for using PayPal or your funds. Just select PayPal and then you can login there and it will add it to your account as a payment option.

I love credit cards… I just use: -flat 2% everything card (Citi Custom Cash -5% off restaurant (Citi custom cash -Venmo credit card 5% off Costco -Costco card 4% off gas -Discover rotating 5% category -Amazon store card 5% off Amazon -M1 finance card 2.5% - 10% categories -Bilt card 1% off my rent -Apple card used to give 3% off T-Mobile but now I get better discount paying from T-Mobile money bank account I’m king cashback/no annual fee. I used to try travel cards like this, but these things actually suck. You can get more cashback for free like my set up, avoid annual fees, and don’t get trapped using all your rewards in a specific marked up ecosystem. Travel cards are nice to open, hit the sign up bonus, use, then cancel the card. I think they’re good because they make you feel rewarded etc. If you really do math and find the best cashback card for categories, you will earn so much more money back. Ignore the sign up bonus math and act like you’re in year 2/3/4 of these cards compared to cashback cards. I’ve had Hilton, Chase, and American Express cards including the platinum before but to me never worth keeping after you use the sign up bonus. These cards do work for lots of people, but I think they don’t care enough about the difference. It is a lot more fun to have travel cards.

Good video guys. Been doing the same thing for years and never pay for travel. There’s actually setting in PayPal to pull directly from a card even if you have a balance you don’t need a separate PayPal account. If the certain card you want to use is selected as your preferred payment method it will automatically pull from that and not your balance

Hi! Could you tell me what improvements you made to your garage? I’m guessing insulate the door and add A/C but curious about details…

Insulated all exterior walls, insulated attic above it, insulated garage door, and AC unit installed. That was all we did and I believe all you really need. Only thing I would change is getting a bigger AC unit on a dedicated 220v breaker switch as the current one is just on a dedicated 110v and it really isn’t enough to keep the garage super cool. It’s cold enough for inventory but not to do anything else in the garage without sweating. Temp sits around 80 degrees. I’d change it today, but we don’t have anymore room on our breaker panel to add another 15 amp line sadly.

Incase you are wondering as well, it costs around $1,500 total to do as it’s a 2 car garage. We did it ourselves as well so no labor included in that price.

Hi, I enjoyed watching your office tour it looks wonderful. Could you explain to me how and when you take notes on the description of the item. If you sit and pull tags, then photograph, measure, fold the item put it in a bag, put it in your box, and that's the end of the story. How do you remember what the description of each item is when you go to list it. Have these items already been listed before you do the actual photographing? Linda

Great video . I tape the edge of the Mylar bags on both sides at the seal down . I saw you didn’t . Am I wasting tape ? Also, I only bag shirts / jerseys that are over $20 and put rest of them “loose” inside the Mylar mailer. Thoughts ? Do you did it just for SKU purposes ?

We’ve never had a package open on us in shipment so we don’t worry about taping. We put everything in the clear bags for the SKU and also for protection. Half the garage stores inventory and the other half we use for renovating our house so there’s always sawdust and stuff flying in the garage. Just a peace of mind thing.
