this may be one of my favorite kits in the whole game, a great two-way that wreaks havoc on defense and counters serpent and maestro on offense while ALSO just being fun, yet complex at times? absolutely beautiful design and huge props to the designer

I've said this to others. I actually love her kit. The style and vibes. A mix of DnD along with old school arcade game mechanics. In theory and on paper, I do love everything she brings to the table and I've even talked about how theoretically fun it would be for certain caster-type mystic champions to have "counter-spell" mini-games when fighting Enchantress. So, I do love where the designer/team were going with this. I do however, fear that the additional time and effort placed into making this vision a reality may unfortunately not get the reception it warrants. I think it was on the live stream but I seem to recall a comment being mentioned about how some attention will be placed on Enchantress' data because the team will want to see if the results and community response/use warrants the effort - this is where I feel things may suffer. I fear people may just look elsewhere to do similar things with much less effort. I legitimately hope I'm wrong though.

Love the sigh at the start of the video hahaha! Looking forward to using her and fighting her. The only thing I may dislike is potentially having to bait heavy after heavy cause the punish keeps missing. But, bringing a miss counter is not a huge ask

Okay, she’s by far the most interesting character in the game. I would absolutely love for her to be in the next featured crystal, hopefully she will be ? If not, I’ll have to grind the arena. She seems absolutely amazing.

1hr long damn. That's a lot of context. It's 11pm for me I'm sorry DLL but I'll have to watch this in the morning and BTW I love the champion spotlight with context it really helps to not just understand how to play champs but also how to go up against them. Thanks for your hard work Edit: After watching this I am Enamored(pun intended). Yes she's complex but it will be fun to learn her eventually as an attacker. As a defender learning how to counter her spells will take a bit of practice but I'm wondering how Quicksilver will fare against her. He doesn't gain the dex buff so that could give her power but his withers when dexing should counter that. The only thing I'm unsure about is that they changed slow from countering Unstoppable and evade to reducing Unstoppable and evade AR by 100%. So I don't how that interaction will work but his miss counter should still work. His large amount of debuffs should stop her regen with despair. Only concerning thing would be the damaging effects. All in all Amora feels like Amora and a solid champion as well. Will probably have to watch the vid again to see if I didn't miss anything which I probably did😅

Slow was never changed, I'm pretty sure. It might have been clarified, but it's always been ability accuracy for those two effects and then a separate anti-unstoppable clause that's basically grit. That said, QS is solid for her as long as you handle levitate, yes.

Cuz I remember when they first introduced the blue highlights in champ descriptions for abilities where you could touch them and read what they do like petrify and wither for example. I remember slow saying that it counters evade and Unstoppable then the text was changed to slow reducing Evade and Unstoppable ability accuracy by 100%. You're probably right that it was always this way and that they just clarified what slow has actually been.

This champ's designer has to be an avid D&D player, huh? Fireball, Chain Lightning, Haste....she even loses concentration....lol Yeah....this guy knows his casters. Also, while I completely understand the reason, I was disappointed that all of her evocation spells looked the same. Would have been cool but I'm sure it would have been a ton of work under the hood.

So I want to preface my odd rant/question by saying I think the design of this champ is extremely interesting and unique and I can't wait to see hands on content with her. I am wondering if there was a certain threshold of players that the champion was designed for? Trying to think from a newer to intermediate player's perspective who may not be apart of the youtube mcoc community or know that there are indepth guides and such like this will they possibly think the game is going to get more complicated than its worth. They might think there are going to be more complicated champions released like enchantress here and either become less active or not active at all. I'm just curious as to if a champion like this may drive newer players away rather than bring them in, even though as you stated you would only need to know a few spells that carry the most utility and then would by playing her more soft memorize those and other spells. Any comment or insight would be appreciated

Unless I missed something don’t you only really need to learn two spell? If you don’t need the utility of a damage spell you can just double tap block during sp1 for your random damaging spell, then use the utility and buff spell that you memorized right? Then kinda just repeat that cycle of double tap block for damage, swipe for utility and buff control. Wouldn’t that give the same results as if you swiped for all 3 different spells?

Its time to find out if she works well against Serpent. Also were you the one who designed Serpent? Hes a strong defender but hes surprised me as an attacker in spring of Sorrow he just destroyed Annihilus like nothing even Jessica Jones went down against him.

When it says she casts 3 Spells of a predetermined combination, does that mean she will only cast one of those combinations the entire match? Or that the fight start/every SP1 will randomly select one of those 7 combinations?

The only being able to have ability power rate halved is just dumb for the tactic, and that miss spell is just dumb as well, at least should be where she doesn’t miss when you’re countering heavy to clear it, just makes her rng

At this point the defender is so annoying that i think i would actually rather fight the grandmaster as a defender. Nothing currently in the game counters her and can only partially help and in order to not die you need to both intercept and punish heavy (possibly multiple times) all that without giving a single bar of power on a champion that gains more power than normal. That's some story boss level defence

She's intended to be tough, but it's not really fair to say nothing in the game counters her. She just doesn't have a super hard counter. There are plenty of science champs that will do well.

My best idea is quicksilver and even he would struggle since he needs to keep up the whiplashes and tgus give enchantress too much power. There's the debilitate champs but idk how good they'll be at countering since they only have 2 stacks. Not to mention debilitate is rare even among the science class

This character design is everything I hate , too many things to remember to many things to watch and read , how often is she going to sit on her specials then you add the damage reflect , the 1 node I can’t stand . I already hate BG,s 😢

I think you might be misunderstanding the damage reflect based on this comment. Just to be sure - it's not a KM-style reflect of each hit. It stores up the damage and sends it back if you haven't cleared the spells. You'll see soon, but it is manageable. I hear you on the complexity, but that's why I spent so much time in this vid breaking it down.
