He looks SO fun. Right up my alley I think, reed is one of my fav control champs and leader looks very much the same. I love the little flavor that if you play chee’ilth the way she wants (heavies and mediums), you automatically are avoiding some of his most annoying pain points. Also great explanation on the vitality potency vs rate. Can’t wait for this guy 😁

He's fun to play for sure. Elsa's my favourite champ so love that synergy. Playing him with CapIW and Hulk at the moment for the extra damage and debuffs.

@@Daddylonglegs93 In a way kind of remains me of a Science Adam Warlock in the sense that he has an agressive playstayle and his specific Debuffs aren't subject to traditional forms of dealing with them. But still he's designer COOKED, can't wait to test out the Power dissolve mechanic. 😈

This is amazing how you do this what would you stay his stat focus would be and what relic would benifit, unless I missed it I seen it in the patriot video:)

Honestly I probably won't do the exact same things every time. Not all characters really fit any of the existing relics, and for stat focus in particular he doesn't really need any of the usuals. I'd consider block prof or maybe one of the resistances for extra tank, or just crit is fine

Can we assume then that I.Hulk will be updated to consume gamma radiation from other champs that are gamma radiation based. Because the description of the Leader almost lends to I. Hulk becoming OP against gamma champs if you do indeed make this logical and beneficial change to is kit. Basically y’all opened the Green Door for this to happen asap.

No, you can not assume that, and I don't really consider it logical. Gamma radiation is a currency that fuels Leader's kit, not a tangible thing on the battlefield that characters can react to. In general, be careful not to try and apply too much comics logic to character design.

Why even introduce patriot ? At his best he is a good photon counter, where do you even use him other than photon fights, stop creating problems and selling solutions for the same, this is not the first time I suppose( bullseye and ntw)

That is not the only value Patriot has. I'm not going to waste time explaining otherwise to you, but I'd recommend you try to resist buying into cynical narratives like this. It's not going to improve your takes.

@@Daddylonglegs93 I am not criticising patriot but I strongly condemn this trend of sabotaging other players with nasty defender and releasing specific counters. At the end of the day I agree kabam is here to run a business and they have to earn but for once you can quit this trend and introduce someone versatile like in those days where whaling and defense sabotaging weren't the only skill involved in the game.

Do you know if there is a reason the green door is in the middle of the arena and not on the wall? Is it just to ask for more skillful play on both ends?

There actually were some drafts where the green door was at a wall, but ultimately it just didn't work as well, for a variety of reasons. We've also done wall gameplay a bit recently, and once this change occurred to Leader's designer, we all loved how much it improved both the offensive and defensive gameplay.
