It's been nerfed for sure, it still can work, but it's a lot harder to get to place down, and have support.

It's very finicky. The places this will snap down are a lot harder to find because they changed something with the support restrictions on foundations. They really like perfectly level ground now, and even then it's a challenge to place.

Probably not, this build used some techniques that may or may not still work revolving around a special blueprint that is very troublesome to place these days. If I could could rebuild it like I did years ago, I would say maybe, but likely not. Thank you, I do appreciate that you enjoy my videos. ☺️

Thanks, I appreciate that. 😁 This just brought me back. I've come a very long way since then. It's crazy looking back at these old builds. To think back when I built this, my merging skills were so limited, and I could build a camp in a few hours. Now, it takes me weeks to complete a single build because I have to go extra with every home. 😂

That gap is so pesky. The wooden counter set works really good for covering it up. The little corner pieces fit really well. The main thing is just making sure you've got the difference split evenly on both sides.

Also I used the checked flooring. It helped me a lot❤

Check out my channel page, this build has a two part tutorial, and there's also a tutorial for the foundation blueprint, And firplace as well. The methods are kind of dated, but still work for the most part as shown in those videos.

It's a custom world build, so there are no support restrictions. To do it in adventure to this level of detail, it would be very involved, and even my autism has its limits on the abuse I'm willing to withstand. Lol In the custom world, however, with relaxed building restrictions, you can simply place the wires and freehand the conduits in place without support. 😀

When it comes to breaking items in camp to do merges, you can use a myriad of different items to get the job done. The rule is pretty straightforward with it. Every item relies on being supported by something. Be it the ground, a floor, or another object. All support ties back to the ground, so when you're building and you have multiple items in a support chain you can manipulate the system to allow to to merge in overlapping pieces by breaking an item in that chain to make every item that was supported by that link disappear, allowing you to place overlapping items without the traditional collision flags you get from destroying just the item you want to merge into. This also works with spike board traps and shooting targets because when those are activated, they break, and if you have objects on top, they will vanish until the trap or shooting target is repaired. Conduit can be tricky to target sometimes, but at the time I made this tutorial, we didn't have access yet to some of the other items we could use to merge. The shooting targets that were given away by prime gaming are a wonderful item to use for merging, as you don't need pvp to target them and break them on your own. Back to what you got going on, though, if you can't hit your object that is supporting the stack of items you want to merge, there's no real penalty in destroying the items stacked on top so you can hit the item you need to break.

Oftentimes, I forget to say the quiet parts out loud. 😅 When I placed down the camp in that location, I placed the radius to where it just touched the two power poles by the road, giving me the majority of the semi level area off to the side to build the camp structure. With this build, and having a whole blueprint on hand for future reference and anyone who may stumble upon this reply later. Wherever you decide to try and build this camp, lay out the floors first, with a few floors to each side added to ensure the spot you're building in has adequate space to construct this build. 😅 Sorry for the very late reply, I hope you got it all worked out, and are happy with your build. It's been quite some time since I made this one. Perhaps there may be a few shortcuts that catwalks could introduce into this tutorial. However, the roof will always be a pain 7 ways from Sunday. Every object has a chain of support. If you're referring to error message referring to something being unsupported, however in terms of something being unavailable usually that error is triggered by an ally, or another player using an object like a bed, chair, crafting station, etc... that will cause any floor that is directly supporting that item to become "unavailable"

It can be frustrating. With the walls layered up, it's easy to accidentally apply the paper to the outer layer when you're intending to apply it to the inner layer. If this is the issue you're running into, you can replace the outer wall to a doorway to have access to the inner layer and apply the paper that way.

4 layers to the roof. You've got the interior layer, which is the ranch roof, then it steps up and is offset. The bottom layer offset is ranch, then step up to brotherhood of steel and the top layer is enclave. The trick for making the cone light blueprint is at the 10 minute mark in this live stream. kzbin.infoe2Gm1A7PnGM?si=U7mgkQ7wdQ175M-g You can use the replace option to swap the lower layer roof pieces to sloped roofs to have access to the bottom of the top layer to snap in the cone blueprint and achieve the recessed look.

Tutorials are a whole different beast when it comes to complex builds, I simply don't have the time to record 20+ hours of building and try and edit it down into a full tutorial video. I tried it once, took me 2 months to film and edit, and barely anyone watched it. 😅 how it goes sometimes, but if you tab over to my live tab on my channel page you can see a bit of what goes into these builds. 😁

I used the ranch building set. It has smooth roofs. I merged them with the floor pieces so the 1st floor ceilings are smooth. The ranch building set was from the atom shop.

With the 2nd floor using the upper floors I used the half floors to snap in a doorway Intersecting where I wanted the train door, and snapped in a door to that frame, used replace to float the door, then snapped in my regular floor and frame where it was meant to go, and replaced the door to the train door. The train door rotated to match the orientation of the new doorway when replacing to it.
