This is pure genius! You are definitely a master builder. Thank you so much for sharing this. I built a similar three foundation wide house in the same location over a year ago but used the peaked roof for the center roof piece. I was never completely satisfied with the roof line so just last week I rebuilt the roof lowering the middle peaked roof so the roof line merged in completely smooth. It looks great but I am still left with the ugly flat plain wooden end cap of the center peaked roof. Your method is so clean and so ingenious that I am now going to have to rebuild the roof again. I must admit that I wish I would have thought of it myself. Thank you again for sharing this and other building tips and tricks with the community. Sorry, i got another question, are there any other ways to offset the foundation besides catwalks? (Btw if you find a way to make the slanted haunted mansion roofs without the window pls make a video on it. I imagine there could be some way by merging the side roofs together.)

@@sirnautical5095 it is possible to offset by a half using stairs, and upper floors. As far as the dormer free haunted roofs are concerned, check out my haunted house live streams that I did recently.

Pitch wise, there's not much can be done on that front with the parts given, but if you want the roof taller, you have to make the base wider. 😄 they really don't give us much to go on with roof options.

I have seen some players using floating stairs to make steeper roofs, with the stairs being the roof. but then the challenge of filling in the space on the front becomes an issue.

Yeah, I was just using the glass walls as a measuring point. Totally not required to do the merge.

Depends on what character I'm playing on. The one in the video is my builder guy so he's pretty much covered. As for the other 4 it's hit or miss.
