We never put the ring gap in the thrust side of the piston top ring needs to be 180 degrees from the second ring.

Salut, nu am pățit asta până acum, dar dacă mai este ceva rămas la exterior, puteți încerca să sudați o piuliță în cap sau, dacă nu, găuriți cu burghiul de la cel mai mic până se ajunge la diametrul șurubului.

Just a 10 mm or a Torx, depending on what type you've got there.

If you don't follow my channel, why do you comment without at least reading the comments? The bearings are new, just 860 km with the same camshaft. I just took the camshaft off because it's been an issue with the edge of the lifters. Then I put everything back. When you spend 8k on one engine, believe me, it's not about the money. There's just no need for new ones, as they're new and not even break in.

Any new camshaft bearings after just one mile from new will look like that. They have a layer on them for breaking in, but that doesn't mean they are old.

No, you can't install it wrong. Just make sure the toothed wheel has the toothed gap facing the top as you see in video.

I answered to another 50 with the same question, it would help me if everyone check the comments before, the oil is not necessary but i just do it because i fell that in that way will seal better but again its not necessary.

@stelianconstantin8810 Pai nu este greu, urmăriți clipul si il faceti acasa, nu aveti nevoie decat de o cheie inelara de 18 si un imbus de 6, asta dupa ce dati capacul de la motor jos, iar la arbore o tubulara de 18 mm si cam atât.

Puneți pe cineva sa invarta ușor de arbore in timp ce va uitați atent la injectoare dupa ce se opreste din coborât are o pauza destul de buna pana începe sa urce si se vede când nu mai coboara si va opriti si faceti reglajul.

Нудно в толкатели ножку подточить которая на клапан давит он тогда ниже сядет и можно шайбу толстую поставить, тогда кулачек не будет корпус толкаиеля задевать.

Yeah i know what you mean, they are more options available to set up the lifters shims but i just choose to grind the shims as they been very thick so i just did that. Now everything work as it should .

The bosch one i use is a bit higher pressure than the stock LUK, so for me it is a help for a tuned engine as supply the fuell a bit faster.

These 1.9s sound surprisingly good, honestly. I have a friend who drives a straight-piped Mk 4 with the ALH engine, and it actually sounds really good. He's working on getting a proper exhaust to really dial in the tone.

Hello mate, i had @330hp and @600nm before to change the new ported head from veicomer with same turbocharger, so now it should be @350 wheel hp, i'm gonna do the measures after i do the DSG conversion in May as after upgrade i broke the manual gearbox wich is very weak on the 4th gear so that 4th gear gone now, and decide to go for dsg, ive got everything now bought just need time to do it, so in May hopefully ill post a full dsg conversion video.

Hello, the head bolts were gresed with arp assembly grease wich is special for that, and the gasket i oiled with engine oil just for a better contact, its not necessary but i like to do it as i feel better in my mind 😅

@@WRCgarage one of my friends also lubricates the gaskets with oil, but not with engine oil, but with transmission oil. he says that in this case it is easier to clean it off when removing it

To be honest i never had any dirt left on the engine when i removed one so it may be a good point, but i do it with new engine oil just because in my mind it feels that it has gonna be a better seal contact when i tighten the cilynder head.
