Salut, încă nu am pus-o pe dyno pentru că după 300 km a crăpat cutia, am făcut swap la DSG și sunt aproape gata și o să fac după, oricum undeva la 350 aproximativ.

Am înlocuit și eu axul cu came cuzineți și tacheti . Dar după motorul nu mai trage ca înainte Înainte trăgea de Numa, acum numai are lag mare Sa fi greșit ceva?

Daca ai pus axa corect înseamnă ca ai pus avansul la distribuție diferit si de asta nu mai trage asa. Pune un tester si vezi daca e pe zero sau -1.5 daca e edc16

@@WRCgarage Ok Mașina e din 2002 Mecanicul nu folosește vcds are altfel de tester. Și mia zis ca unghiul de torsiune la pus la 0 , dar nu trage ca înainte și turbina nu mai intra asa repede Am verificat furtune vacum toate sunt Ok Poate fi pompa tandem defecta dar e noua nouță

In the manual it says to measure 15mm from the bottom of the cylimder do u think it makes a difference from measuring from top

Yes, it does, you have to measure it 15-20 mm from the top or bottom of the cylinder to have a precise measurement.

Not everyone understands that i did that on purpose to lubricate all the parts with oil before starting, but it's okay. I'll let all the smarties comment as long as i know what I'm doing i'm not bothered.

Salut Care e diferența de a monta injectorul chiar in admisie cum l-ai pis tu sau mai in spate pe traseu? Nu e periculos pt motor (fiabilitate) sa fie chiar in admisie? Si cam de la ce boost ai recomanda inceperea injecție tinad cont ca full boost e la 2.5 bar Mulțumesc

The clutch isn't the best option for comfort, but it is a Sachs SRE performance ceramic paddle with dual mass. It holds a lot of power, but it is very, very annoying in town as it takes a bit of force to push it down.

@WRCgarage is there a way on these engines to test the pcv valve is working correctly? I have a 1.9tdi transporter, blue smoke from exhaust, leak and pressure test all good. Thinking might be the pcv valve stuck open/closed

I don't know if there is any test for them, but you can check if your oil stick jumps out or if you have excessive pressure when you open the oil cap.

We never put the ring gap in the thrust side of the piston top ring needs to be 180 degrees from the second ring.

I don't really get what you meant, but I always install them like that, 180°, and I've never had a problem. I always get good compression.

@@WRCgarage we always put ring gap on the wrist pin sides. When we replaced pistons on 2.5 liter ecotechs (oil consumption issues) we would find ring gaps that we aligned with each other. We always wondered if they were installed that way or if the moved while the engine was running.

Salut, nu am pățit asta până acum, dar dacă mai este ceva rămas la exterior, puteți încerca să sudați o piuliță în cap sau, dacă nu, găuriți cu burghiul de la cel mai mic până se ajunge la diametrul șurubului.

If you don't follow my channel, why do you comment without at least reading the comments? The bearings are new, just 860 km with the same camshaft. I just took the camshaft off because it's been an issue with the edge of the lifters. Then I put everything back. When you spend 8k on one engine, believe me, it's not about the money. There's just no need for new ones, as they're new and not even break in.

Any new camshaft bearings after just one mile from new will look like that. They have a layer on them for breaking in, but that doesn't mean they are old.

No, you can't install it wrong. Just make sure the toothed wheel has the toothed gap facing the top as you see in video.
